Project Procurement and Installation Situation
Taking the infrastructure improvement project in Songduo Village, Songduo Township as an example, this project has procured and installed 3 mobile public toilets. The total project investment is 510,000 yuan, of which 420,000 yuan is used for the procurement and installation of mobile public toilets. The funds all come from the first batch of central financial linkage funds in 2025 (funds for minority development tasks). After the project is completed, the assets formed by these mobile public toilets will be owned by the Songduo Village collective. This measure not only improves the local infrastructure conditions but also provides a reference example for other regions in the implementation of mobile public toilet projects.
Tourist Toilet Management and Maintenance Situation
The Office of the People's Government of Huzhu Tu Autonomous County has issued a notice on further strengthening the management and maintenance of tourist toilets throughout the county. It requires all townships (sub-districts), relevant departments, and units to raise their ideological awareness, establish a work concept that emphasizes both construction and management, and not just focus on construction while neglecting subsequent management. At the same time, it refines the division of responsibilities, weaves a dense network of regular management and maintenance throughout the region, and ensures that each tourist toilet has a clear responsible entity. In addition, it improves long-term mechanisms, builds a work pattern of joint management, consolidates and deepens the achievements of the tourist toilet revolution through multi-party collaboration, standardizes the operation and maintenance management of tourist toilets throughout the county, and improves the service quality and hygiene level of tourist toilets.
