Huizhou Movable Toilet Information

Admin 21 de septiembre de 2026

Information about movable toilets in Huizhou covers various aspects, including the controversy over tidal toilets and the rental of mobile restrooms.

Controversy over Tidal Toilets

Huizhou West Lake Scenic Area once installed 'tidal toilets', where the male and female signs at the entrance could be manually switched. Although the original intention of this design was to cope with surges in tourist numbers and achieve flexible adjustment of restroom areas, there were obvious management loopholes. Initially, the scenic area stated that these toilets would only be activated during special periods, with the sign adjustments carried out by staff and guided by dedicated personnel. However, a field visit by reporters revealed that there was no one on duty or guiding at the site. This lack of management could lead to tourists arbitrarily changing the signs, resulting in mixed-gender restrooms and privacy breaches. Subsequently, the scenic area acknowledged the risks, removed all the sliding signs, and switched to a fixed design. In the future, functional switching will be achieved by changing the door signs.

Rental of Mobile Restrooms

  • Physical Characteristics: They adopt a modular design, with the main body made of high-strength plastic or stainless steel. The walls, roof, and internal components are detachable, allowing for quick assembly and disassembly within a short time without the need for a fixed foundation, making them suitable for temporary venues. The internal functional areas include toilets, sinks, water storage tanks, and sewage outlets. Some models are equipped with independent compartments and ventilation systems.
  • Technical Implementation: The core lies in the design of the water supply and drainage system. The water supply system relies on external water source connections or built-in water storage tanks, with water supplied by pressure pumps. The drainage system uses sealed sewage storage tanks or temporary pipe connections, requiring regular pumping and cleaning. Ventilation is achieved through natural air convection or the installation of small exhaust fans to maintain internal air circulation. At the same time, the technical implementation also requires an assessment of the usage environment, such as ground flatness and the distance from the water source.
  • Application Scenarios: In the short term, they are used for temporary events such as outdoor celebrations, markets, or sports events, focusing on rapid deployment and withdrawal. In the medium to long term, they are used in construction sites, scenic area expansions, and other settings where the facilities need to be durable and easy to maintain. In special environments such as remote areas or temporary isolation points, higher requirements are placed on sealing and anti-fouling treatment. The configuration standards and rental plans vary significantly in different scenarios.
  • Rental Operation Mechanism: It covers the rental process, maintenance management, and cost composition. The rental process includes needs assessment, contract signing, transportation, installation, and recovery. Maintenance management involves cleaning, troubleshooting, and replenishing consumables, with operational support provided by the rental party. The cost composition includes rent, transportation fees, cleaning fees, and sewage treatment fees.
  • Regional Adaptation Characteristics: The topographical differences between the coastal and mountainous areas in Huizhou affect transportation and installation methods. Climatic conditions such as humidity and typhoon seasons have specific requirements for wind and moisture resistance. The scale of local activities and population flow patterns influence the number of rentals and layout planning, necessitating adjustments based on local conditions.
