Hubei Environmental Protection Mobile Toilet Construction

Admin 27 de septiembre de 2026

The construction of environmental protection mobile toilets in Hubei should focus on three key aspects: scientific configuration, daily maintenance and cleaning management, and usage norms and safety management.

Scientific configuration must strictly adhere to standards and actual needs. According to the 'Hubei Provincial Environmental and Sanitary Standards for Construction Sites', the configuration of mobile toilets on construction sites should be dynamically adjusted based on the number of workers. Generally, one standard stall should be provided for every 50 workers, with separate facilities for men and women. It is recommended that the number of female toilet stalls exceed that of male stalls, with a ratio of approximately 1:1.5, to meet actual usage demands. Special construction areas (such as high-temperature work zones and densely populated areas) require additional barrier-free mobile toilets or products equipped with ventilation systems to enhance user comfort. The placement of these toilets should be away from construction dust zones and living areas, maintaining a safe distance of over 30 meters from canteens and dormitories to avoid odors and pollution.

Daily maintenance and cleaning management should be institutionalized and refined. Specialized personnel should be assigned to conduct comprehensive cleaning at least twice a day, including wiping surfaces, emptying waste, and replenishing consumables such as toilet paper and hand soap. For odor control, it is recommended to use chemical deodorizers or plant-based air fresheners, and prioritize biodegradable cleaning products to reduce environmental pollution. Regular facility inspections should focus on checking components such as flushing systems, door locks, and lighting, with damaged parts repaired within 24 hours. Seasonal maintenance is also crucial; before the rainy season, the toilet's bottom seal should be inspected to prevent leakage, and during winter, pipes should be protected against freezing to avoid cracking.

Usage norms and safety management require strengthened supervision and emergency safeguards. Construction sites should post usage instructions at the entrance of mobile toilets, clearly specifying prohibited behaviors (such as littering or damaging facilities), and assign on-duty personnel to conduct regular patrols and promptly stop uncivilized actions. Night-shift construction projects should be equipped with emergency lighting and anti-slip mats to reduce safety risks. A ledger should be established for waste removal, recording the time and frequency of removal to ensure compliance with regulations. During the COVID-19 pandemic, disinfection frequency should be increased, with comprehensive disinfection conducted at least once a day, and key areas (such as door handles and flush buttons) should be wiped more frequently to ensure hygiene and safety during use.
