How to Use a Portable Toilet
The usage methods for portable toilets mainly fall into two types, as detailed below:

Portable and Assemblable Toilets
Securing the Structure:
Before use, ensure the toilet is stable. It has buckles on the straps; pressing these buckles releases them, allowing you to remove certain parts (such as the seat or lid) for adjustment or cleaning. For some models, you need to separate the black tank (waste collection container) from the main body before installation. Make sure the buckles are fully locked to prevent shifting during use.Filling and Flushing:
If the toilet has a built-in water tank, fill it with clean water in advance (the amount should follow the model's instructions, typically 80% of the tank's capacity). When flushed, the water flow creates pressure to help clean the inner walls of the toilet bowl. Note: Not all portable toilets have a flushing function; refer to the product instructions for details.Usage and Cleaning:
Sit directly on the toilet seat to use. After use, press the buckle beneath the seat to remove detachable parts (such as the seat or lid), revealing the black tank. The black tank is designed to be movable and can be lifted out separately. Empty the waste, rinse with clean water, and dry before reinstalling. Key Point: Wear gloves during cleaning to avoid direct contact with waste; if the toilet has not been used for a long time, it is recommended to empty the tank and dry it to prevent bacterial growth.
Installation-Free Integrated Commode Toilets
Direct Use:
These toilets are designed as a single unit, requiring no assembly or securing. Simply place them on a flat surface after taking them out and open the lid to use. Their structure is similar to that of a regular commode chair, but they have an integrated waste collection container (such as a plastic bag or sealed box). Some models come with a removable inner container for easy replacement.Waste Disposal:
After use, if the toilet has a built-in plastic bag, tie the bag tightly before disposing of it; if it has a sealed box design, press the release button or rotate the box to remove it, empty the waste, and clean it. Advantage: No need to disassemble the structure for cleaning, making it more convenient and suitable for independent operation by the elderly or those with mobility issues.
General Precautions:
- Regularly check the stability of the toilet to prevent tipping due to an uneven surface.
- When storing for a long time, empty the tank and keep it dry to prevent odors or mildew.
- If the toilet has a flushing function, use a dedicated cleaner to avoid clogging the pipes.
