How to Tie a Mobile Toilet

Admin 05 de octubre de 2026

The securing of a mobile toilet should be based on its type and weight, with specific operations as follows:

I. Selecting Securing Tools Based on Type

  1. Small Mobile Toilets
Choose high-strength nylon straps with a width of at least 5 centimeters and a tensile strength of no less than 5000 kilograms. Wrap the straps around the fixing points on the bottom or sides of the mobile toilet (such as the bottom brackets or side handles) and tie them to the fixing rings or rails of the transport vehicle, ensuring the straps are tight without any slack.
  2. Large or Heavy Mobile Toilets
Use chains or steel cables for securing. The diameter of the steel cable should be at least 8 millimeters, paired with professional steel cable clamps. When securing, attach one end of the steel cable to a sturdy part of the mobile toilet (such as the bottom frame or load-bearing beam) and the other end to the corresponding position on the vehicle. Use at least 3 clamps per fixing point, with a clamp spacing of at least 6 times the diameter of the steel cable to prevent slipping or detachment.

II. Selecting Securing Positions

  1. Bottom Securing
For the fixing points at the four corners or edges of the bottom of the mobile toilet (such as reinforced structures or dedicated fixing rings), tighten the straps or steel cables through the fixing rings or brackets at the bottom of the vehicle to make the bottom fit closely with the carriage. This method can effectively prevent left-right or front-back movement during transportation.
  2. Side Securing
For taller or easily swaying mobile toilets, it is necessary to pull the straps or steel cables diagonally from the fixing points in the middle or upper part of the sides (such as handles or rails) to the side rails or columns of the vehicle to form a triangular stable structure. This method enhances anti-tipping ability, especially suitable for scenarios with strong winds or bumpy road conditions.

III. Protective Measures

  1. Anti-slip Treatment
Place anti-slip rubber mats (about 5 centimeters thick with a rough surface) at the contact points between the mobile toilet and the carriage to prevent displacement by increasing friction. The rubber mats should cover all contact surfaces to avoid local slipping.
  2. Buffer Protection
Place foam boards, sponges, and other buffer materials around the mobile toilet and at the contact points of the fixing points to reduce collisions and friction caused by bumps or sudden braking during transportation. The buffer materials should be firmly fixed to avoid displacement.

IV. Inspection and Maintenance

Before transportation, conduct a comprehensive inspection of the integrity of the securing tools to confirm that the straps are not worn, the steel cables are not broken, and the clamps are not loose. During transportation, stop regularly for inspections, especially after passing through bumpy road sections or after long-distance driving. Retighten the straps or steel cables to ensure the securing effect remains effective.
