How to Store Mobile Toilets
The storage of mobile toilets requires standardized operations in terms of cleaning, environment, protection, and component maintenance. The specific methods are as follows:

1. Cleaning Before Storage
After use, mobile toilets should be thoroughly cleaned: First, empty the fecal tank and rinse it with clean water at least three times to prevent residual matter from fermenting and producing odors. Use a neutral cleaner to wipe the inner walls, paying special attention to cleaning dead spots such as the toilet seat and drainage outlet. After spraying disinfectant, let it sit for 30 minutes and then ventilate and dry. For long-term storage, detachable components such as foot pedals and water tank covers should be removed and stored separately to prevent deformation or loss.
2. Key Points for Environment Selection
The storage site should be dry, well-ventilated, and flat: Indoor environments are preferred to avoid outdoor storage (UV rays can accelerate plastic aging and metal parts are prone to rust). If outdoor storage is necessary, cover the toilet completely with a waterproof cloth and elevate the bottom by more than 10 centimeters to prevent water infiltration. The storage area should be kept away from chemicals to avoid contact between corrosive substances and the toilet shell or components.
3. Moisture and Pest Prevention Measures
Place dehumidifying boxes inside (2-3 packs per square meter) and replace them regularly to maintain dryness. Seal all pipe openings with waterproof tape to prevent insects and ants from entering. Apply petroleum jelly to metal hinges and locks to prevent rust. In humid southern regions, inspect the toilet monthly and immediately wipe away any mildew with alcohol wipes to prevent spread.
4. Component Maintenance Specifications
Apply silicone oil to the rubber seal ring of the water tank to maintain elasticity and prevent cracking. Keep the flush valve spring relaxed to avoid reduced elasticity from long-term compression. Maintain the plastic shell with car wax every quarter to delay oxidation and yellowing. Regularly move the joints of foldable toilets to prevent stiffness and ensure proper functioning.
5. Seasonal Storage Differences
In winter, drain all water to prevent pipe freezing and cracking. In summer, increase ventilation frequency and inspect the toilet at least once a week. Before and after the rainy season, focus on checking moisture prevention measures and replace desiccants if necessary. For long-term storage exceeding six months, it is recommended to test the flushing system 2-3 times every three months to ensure normal component operation.
6. Safety Precautions
The storage area should be equipped with fire extinguishers and prohibit the stacking of flammable materials. Store disinfectants and other chemicals separately, keeping them at least 2 meters away from the toilet. Wear protective gloves during inspection and maintenance, especially when handling the drainage system. Children are not allowed to enter the storage area to prevent accidents.
