How to Replace Mobile Toilet Bags
Replacing mobile toilet bags requires specific operations based on the type. For automatic packing toilets, refer to the following steps:

1. Confirm the Type of Mobile Toilet
The method of replacing bags in mobile toilets varies depending on their design. Common types include automatic packing, manual replacement, and simple collection types. Automatic packing toilets are usually equipped with a film roll and a packing device, requiring specific button operations for replacement; manual replacement types require directly removing the old bag and inserting a new one; simple collection types may only require tying up the plastic bag tightly and discarding it. If the user is unsure of the type, the following general process is illustrated using an automatic packing toilet as an example.
2. Replacement Steps for Automatic Packing Toilets
Prepare a New Film Roll
Ensure the new film roll matches the original model to avoid jamming or leakage due to size mismatch. The film is usually a continuous plastic sheet, and it should be checked in advance for integrity and no damage.Press the Replacement Button
After the film is exhausted, locate the 'Replace Film' button on the side of the toilet (some models may be labeled as 'RESET' or 'CHANGE'). Pressing it will release the remaining film and put the device into a replacement-ready state.Remove the Old Film
Open the toilet lid or side panel and remove the empty spindle of the exhausted film roll. If the end of the film is still stuck in the clip, gently pull it out and discard it.Install the New Film
- Insert the Film Roll: Place the new film roll onto the designated spindle, ensuring the core fits tightly with the spindle to prevent slipping.
- Secure the End: Pull out about 30 centimeters of the film end and clip it into the fixed clip inside the toilet. Some models may require threading the film through specific guides or rollers.
- Adjust the Position: Pull the film forward slightly to ensure it is flat and wrinkle-free, preventing jamming during subsequent packing.
Initial Fixing and Knotting
- Tear off the protective paper from the end of the film (if any), find the opening on the outer edge, and tie a slip knot with your hand.
- Forcefully insert the knotted end of the film into the collection trough at the bottom of the toilet, ensuring the knot is fully inside the trough to prevent leakage.
Complete Installation and Testing
- Close the toilet lid and ensure all components are back in place.
- Press the 'Pack' button and wait about 90 seconds for the first automatic packing to complete. Observe whether the packing process is smooth and confirm that the film does not shift or break.
3. Precautions
- Disconnect Power Before Operation: If the mobile toilet is an electric model, disconnect the power before replacing the film to avoid accidental activation due to button presses.
- Avoid Contamination: Wear disposable gloves during replacement to prevent direct contact with fecal residue.
- Regular Inspection: It is recommended to check the film level weekly to avoid running out and being unable to replace it in time.
If the mobile toilet is not an automatic packing type, the replacement process may be simplified to directly removing the old bag, inserting a new one, and tying the opening tightly. Refer to the device manual for specific instructions.
