How to Make Walls for Container Houses

Admin 17 de septiembre de 2026

There are various methods for constructing walls in container houses, with the following being common approaches:

Method 1: Multi-layer Composite Structure Walls From the outside in, the layers consist of metal paint, galvanized corrugated sheets, polyurethane foam (optional), thermal insulation rock wool, steel studs, and decorative panels. Metal paint serves as the outermost layer, providing rust resistance and decorative functions; the thickness of the galvanized corrugated sheets can be adjusted according to requirements to enhance structural stability; polyurethane foam is used for thermal insulation and preventing condensation, and can be omitted in environments with low humidity; thermal insulation rock wool is filled between the steel studs to improve heat insulation performance; steel studs act as the supporting framework, securing the internal decorative panels; decorative panels can be selected from options such as bamboo-wood fiber panels and wood veneers to meet different style requirements. This method balances structural strength, thermal insulation performance, and decorative effects, making it suitable for scenarios with high comfort requirements.

Method 2: Combination of Base Layer Treatment and Surface Decoration From the outside in, the layers consist of metal paint, galvanized corrugated sheets, polyurethane foam (optional), thermal insulation rock wool, steel studs, base panels, gypsum boards, rust prevention treatment, and latex paint. The first four layers are the same as in Method 1. Inside the steel studs, woodworker's boards or OSB base panels and gypsum board base layers are installed sequentially to create a flat surface; local rust prevention paste is used to treat metal components such as screws to prevent rusting; finally, latex paint is applied to provide a smooth and easy-to-clean wall surface. This method enhances wall flatness through multi-layer base layer treatment, making it suitable for interior spaces requiring fine decoration.

Method 3: Jinbang Panel Composite Wall System This method uses Jinbang panel fiber cement exterior wall decorative cladding, combined with studs, thermal insulation materials, and gypsum boards to form a composite wall. Jinbang panels serve as both maintenance and decorative wall panels, installed by hanging them on the studs. The tongue-and-groove joint design ensures airtightness, and clip fixation enhances stability; thermal insulation materials (such as rock wool) and gypsum boards can be filled inside to form a multi-functional wall with thermal insulation, fire resistance, and sound insulation properties. This method offers convenient construction and low maintenance costs, making it suitable for rapid construction or temporary housing.

Method 4: Surface Beautification and Structural Concealment First, clean and sand the surface of the container walls to ensure smoothness and flatness; if using paint, choose from various color combinations according to the style and add decorative elements such as stickers and wallpapers; for structural components such as screws, use colored covers or external packaging to conceal them and enhance overall aesthetics. This method has low costs and is simple to operate, making it suitable for scenarios with limited budgets or temporary use, but it has weaker thermal insulation and sound insulation performance.
