How to Make Prefabricated House Partitions

Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026

Prefabricated house partitions can be constructed using prefabricated panel partition technology, with specific construction processes and common types as follows:

Construction Process

  1. Tool Preparation
Before construction, thoroughly inspect the environment, materials, and tools, and complete technical disclosures. The main materials include galvanized square tubes, prefabricated welded connectors, films, varnishes, etc. Additionally, the construction of the ground beam must be completed, with the process being: line marking → rebar planting → formwork erection → grouting → full grouting → formwork removal → curing. As the foundation of the partition, the ground beam must ensure sufficient strength to support subsequent structures.

  2. Fabrication of Prefabricated Panel Molds
Construct a mold frame using galvanized square tubes according to the design dimensions, and lay a film inside the frame to prevent concrete adhesion and facilitate demolding. The accuracy of the mold directly affects the dimensions of the prefabricated panels and must be strictly calibrated.

  3. Fabrication of Prefabricated Panels
Place a steel mesh inside the mold to enhance structural strength, pour concrete, and vibrate it densely to ensure no voids. Precisely implant prefabricated welded connectors into the concrete as fixed points for subsequent installation. After the concrete naturally sets to the specified strength, remove the formwork according to regulations to avoid damaging the panel body.

  4. Installation of Prefabricated Panels
Accurately align the embedded parts of the prefabricated wall panels with those on the ground beam, wall surface, and ceiling, and secure them using professional welding techniques to ensure a firm connection. After installation, check the verticality and flatness, and make necessary adjustments if required.

Common Types

  1. Lightweight Strip Panel Partitions
These partitions use ceramsite concrete, autoclaved aerated concrete, or cement foamed hollow strip panels, with a width of approximately 60 centimeters, customizable height, and a thickness of 10-20 centimeters. They are suitable for residential interior walls and separating walls between households, offering low cost and stable performance. However, sound insulation can be improved by increasing thickness or adding additional materials.

  2. Composite Sandwich Prefabricated Partition Panels
These panels consist of two layers of panels (such as gypsum board or calcium silicate board) sandwiching a layer of sound-insulating and thermal-insulating core material (such as rock wool or polystyrene board). They are lightweight and offer excellent sound insulation and thermal insulation performance, making them ideal for office buildings, hotels, and other places with high acoustic environment requirements. They are easy to disassemble and facilitate later renovations.

  3. Modular Integrated Prefabricated Partitions
These partitions are pre-assembled in the factory with partition walls, door frames, doors and windows, and even socket switches, and are directly hoisted and fixed on-site. They are suitable for standardized projects such as chain hotels and fully furnished apartments, offering fast construction speed, neat completion appearance, and low renovation costs. However, their customization level is limited.

Basic Understanding

Prefabricated partitions transfer on-site wet operations such as bricklaying and plastering to the factory, improving efficiency and quality through industrial production. After the panels or components are transported to the site, they only need to be assembled, bonded, or fixed, significantly reducing the construction period and dust pollution, aligning with the trend of green building.
