How to Make Prefabricated House Beams
Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026
There are two common methods for making prefabricated house beams: concrete prefabrication and I-beam construction. The specific production processes are as follows:

Concrete Prefabricated Beam Production
- Design Preparation: Based on the overall architectural design requirements, draw detailed design drawings for the prefabricated beams, specifying key parameters such as beam dimensions, shapes, and steel bar configurations to provide precise guidance for subsequent production.
- Steel Bar Processing and Binding: Process the steel bars required for the prefabricated beams according to the design requirements, including cutting, bending, and welding processes, to ensure that the shapes and dimensions of the steel bars meet the standards. When binding the steel bars, use auxiliary tools such as guide bar clamps to ensure accurate positioning and spacing of the steel bars, forming a stable steel bar framework to enhance the load-bearing capacity of the beams.
- Mold Making: Fabricate molds for the prefabricated beams according to their dimensions and shapes. The mold materials can be steel molds or wooden molds. The molds must have sufficient strength and rigidity to prevent deformation during the concrete pouring process, thereby ensuring the dimensional accuracy of the prefabricated beams.
- Concrete Pouring and Vibration: Pour the pre-prepared concrete into the fabricated beam molds and use vibration equipment to fully vibrate the concrete, ensuring that it fills every corner of the molds, expels internal air bubbles, guarantees the compactness of the concrete, and improves the quality of the beams.
- Curing and Demolding: After the concrete pouring is completed, perform appropriate curing to ensure that the concrete hardens and gains strength under suitable temperature and humidity conditions. After the curing is finished, carry out the demolding operation to remove the prefabricated beams from the molds. At this point, the prefabricated beams have acquired initial strength.
I-Beam Construction
In the reinforcement of rural old-style prefabricated panel houses, I-beams are commonly used as crossbeams. Determine the placement density according to the size of the selected profile. For example, when using 20-sized steel, three beams can be placed in a cross-shaped arrangement with the panels. At the same time, erect I-beam columns at both ends of the crossbeams for support. The columns must be firmly fixed to the walls to form a stable structural system and enhance the overall load-bearing capacity and stability of the house.
