How to Make a Mobile Toilet

Admin 10 de octubre de 2026

There are various ways to make a mobile toilet, and appropriate methods can be selected based on different needs and scenarios, mainly including making it using a water storage tank, classifying and making it according to structural form, classifying and making it according to mobility method, and classifying and making it according to sewage treatment method.

Making it using a water storage tank is a relatively simple method. For example, some people use a water storage tank to make a portable toilet. By reasonably designing the capacity and position of the water storage tank, they use it as a container for feces storage and flushing water source. Then, by combining it with a simple toilet structure, such as a support frame, a fence, and a toilet seat, a basic mobile toilet can be constructed. Some people also innovate on this basis and make solar-powered mobile toilets. By adding solar panels on the basis of the water storage tank, they provide power for lighting, ventilation, and other equipment in the toilet, enhancing convenience and environmental friendliness.

In terms of structural form, mobile toilets can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure mobile toilets are usually small in size, simple in structure, easy to move and install, and suitable for temporary and small-scale venues, such as outdoor activities and construction sites. Composite-structure mobile toilets are composed of multiple single units, larger in scale, and have more complete functions, meeting the usage needs of more people. They are commonly found in large-scale events and scenic spots.

According to the mobility method, there are lifting and handling mobile toilets. These toilets are generally large in size and heavy in weight, requiring the use of cranes and other equipment for movement and installation. Power-driven and towed mobile toilets have their own power systems or can be towed by vehicles, making movement more flexible and convenient. They can be quickly transferred to different locations as needed.

According to the sewage treatment method, mobile toilets can be divided into water-flushing and waterless suction-type mobile toilets, and circulating water-flushing mobile toilets. Water-flushing mobile toilets use clean water to flush feces, which is clean and hygienic, but require larger water tanks and sewage treatment equipment. Waterless suction-type mobile toilets collect feces into storage containers through vacuum suction and other methods without using water, making them suitable for areas with scarce water resources. Circulating water-flushing mobile toilets recycle and reuse flushing water, improving water resource utilization and being more environmentally friendly and energy-efficient.
