How to Install Mobile Toilets

Admin 21 de septiembre de 2026

The installation methods for mobile toilets are mainly divided into two types: the installation of ordinary mobile toilets and the installation of factory-preassembled mobile toilets, depending on the type. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Installation of Ordinary Mobile Toilets

  1. Tool Preparation
Prepare an electric drill, a 4.2-millimeter drill bit, and a rivet gun in advance. These tools are crucial for fixing the panels. If there is no power source on site, a mobile power supply or extension cord should be provided.

  2. Corner Installation
First, install the corner components (such as those at the frame corners) in place according to the design drawings. The corners are usually made of metal or high-strength plastic and must be tightly connected to avoid gaps during subsequent assembly.

  3. Panel Assembly
Insert the prefabricated panels into the slots, align the edges, and slowly push them in to ensure the slots are fully engaged. Two people should collaborate during assembly: one person holds the panels in place, and the other checks the alignment to prevent structural instability due to misalignment.

  4. Panel Fixing
Drill holes at the joints using a 4.2-millimeter drill bit, spaced approximately 20-30 centimeters apart. Then, insert rivets and secure them with a rivet gun. The rivets must be fully embedded in the panels to avoid protrusions that could scratch users or affect the seal.

  5. Functional Component Installation
After completing the main structure, install components such as the toilet, water tank, and ventilation system. If water and electricity connections are involved, they should be operated by professionals to ensure compliance with safety standards.

2. Installation of Factory-Preassembled Mobile Toilets

  1. Unpacking Inspection
Upon receiving the goods, first check if the packaging is intact and verify that the accessory list (such as screws and sealing strips) is complete. If any damage or missing items are found, contact the manufacturer immediately for replacement.

  2. Simple Assembly
Preassembled toilets usually have the main structure already assembled. Users only need to connect the modules (such as the toilet compartment and door frame) using bolts or clips. Follow the instructions in the manual during assembly to avoid structural deformation caused by forced assembly.

  3. Level Adjustment
Use a level to check if the bottom of the toilet is flat. If the ground is uneven, adjust it by adjusting the feet or adding shims to prevent wobbling or poor drainage during use.

  4. Functional Testing
After connecting the water and electricity, test whether the toilet flushing, lighting, ventilation, and other functions are working properly. If leaks or odors are detected, check if the sealing strips are properly installed or if the drainage pipes are blocked.

3. Notes on Toilet Relocation (if necessary)

If the mobile toilet requires relocation of the toilet, install a toilet offset connector before laying the floor tiles and ensure a drainage slope of ≥2% (i.e., a drop of 2 centimeters per meter) to prevent sewage backflow. However, note that the offset connector may increase the risk of pipe blockage. It is recommended that the relocation distance does not exceed 50 centimeters and that the pipes are cleaned regularly.
