How to Install a Portable Toilet
The installation of a portable toilet requires selecting the appropriate method based on its specific type. Common types include basic assembled models and single-unit portable toilets. For composite or powered models, it is recommended to contact the manufacturer for guidance.

Installation Steps for Basic Assembled Models
- Tool Preparation: After receiving the goods, prepare tools such as an electric drill, a 4.2mm drill bit, and a rivet gun in advance to ensure all necessary tools are available during installation.
- Corner Installation: First, install the corner components sequentially at the designated positions to provide frame support for subsequent panel assembly. Ensure accurate angles during corner installation to avoid misalignment in subsequent assembly.
- Panel Assembly: Insert the panels into the pre-designed slots. Align the upper and lower panel edges during assembly to ensure a flat overall structure. A level can be used to assist in adjustments during assembly to prevent tilting.
- Fixing Operation: After aligning the upper and lower panels, use a 4.2mm drill bit to drill holes at the assembly points. Then insert rivets and complete the fixing with a rivet gun. Apply even pressure during fixing to ensure the rivets are fully embedded and avoid looseness.
Installation Steps for Single-Unit Portable Toilets (Simple Type)
- Non-Slip Mat Installation: Install silicone non-slip mats at each of the four bottom corners to ensure stability when the toilet is placed. The non-slip mats must fully fit into the bottom grooves to prevent displacement.
- Toilet Body Fixing: Align the buckle positions of the upper and lower toilet bodies and press down to fully embed and fix the buckles. Apply even pressure during pressing to ensure tight connection between the upper and lower toilet bodies without gaps.
Installation Precautions for Composite or Powered Models
If the portable toilet is of a composite structure (e.g., includes multiple functional modules) or powered type (e.g., equipped with a sewage discharge system, lighting system, etc.), its installation complexity is higher. Strictly adhere to the following principles:
- Contact the Manufacturer: Prioritize contacting the manufacturer to obtain dedicated installation instructions or video guidance to avoid equipment damage or functional abnormalities due to improper operation.
- Component Inspection: Before installation, check the component list to ensure all parts (e.g., pipes, circuits, fixing parts, etc.) are complete to avoid work stoppages.
- Follow Instructions: Strictly follow the steps in the product manual, especially for key links such as circuit connections and sewage pipe docking, which should be completed or guided by professionals.
General Installation Recommendations: Regardless of the type selected, clear the installation site before installation to ensure a flat ground surface; wear protective gloves during installation to avoid scratches; and perform functional tests (e.g., flushing, sewage discharge, etc.) after installation to confirm everything is correct before putting it into use.
