How to Hoist Plastic Mobile Toilets
The hoisting of plastic mobile toilets must be carried out strictly in accordance with regulations to ensure safety and stability. The specific steps and key points are as follows:

I. Preparation Before Hoisting
Inspect the hoisting equipment: Confirm that the tonnage of the crane meets the requirements. Select the crane based on the number of toilet compartments:
- 2-4 compartments: Use a crane with a tonnage of 12 tons or more;
- 5-6 compartments: Use a crane with a tonnage of 16 tons or more;
- 7 compartments or more: Use a crane with a tonnage of 20 tons or more.
Insufficient tonnage may lead to equipment overturning or structural damage during the hoisting process.
Confirm the toilet structure: Check whether there are 4 dedicated lifting rings on the top of the toilet and ensure that the lifting rings are free from rust, cracks, or deformation. If the lifting rings are damaged, they must be replaced or reinforced before hoisting.
Prepare hoisting tools: Use separate lifting straps that are no less than 6 meters long to connect the crane hook and the toilet lifting rings. The lifting straps must meet the load-bearing standards. Avoid using aged or damaged lifting straps to prevent the risk of breakage.
II. Hoisting Operation Specifications
Connect the lifting straps to the lifting rings: Fix the two ends of the lifting straps to the 4 lifting rings on the top of the toilet respectively, ensuring that the connection points are symmetrically distributed to avoid uneven force. The lengths of the lifting straps should be the same to keep the toilet level.
Lift slowly: Start the crane and lift the toilet at a uniform and slow speed to avoid sudden acceleration that may cause shaking. During the lifting process, observe whether the toilet is stable. If it tilts, stop immediately and make adjustments.
Maintain a horizontal position: When unloading or moving the toilet, try to keep it in a horizontal position to prevent the lifting straps from slipping off or the lifting rings from being subjected to excessive force due to tilting. If angle adjustment is required, rotate it slowly through crane operation. Do not manually push or pull it forcibly.
III. Safety Precautions
- Environmental assessment: Before hoisting, check whether the ground in the operation area is flat and firm. Avoid soft soil or slopes to prevent the crane from overturning.
- Personnel evacuation: Keep irrelevant personnel out of the hoisting area. Operators must wear safety helmets and maintain a safe distance.
- Weather restrictions: Avoid working in strong winds, heavy rain, or thunderstorms to prevent the hoisting process from getting out of control due to environmental factors.
By following the standard operations, the hoisting process of plastic mobile toilets can be ensured to be safe and efficient, avoiding equipment damage or personnel injuries.
