How to Flush Mobile Public Toilets
Mobile public toilets have various flushing methods, and the specific operation should be selected according to their types. Common methods are as follows:

1. Button-type flushing
This is the most basic and common flushing method in mobile public toilets. Inside the toilet, there are usually flush buttons placed near the toilet bowl or squat pan. The button surface may be marked with words or icons such as 'Flush' or 'Large/Small'. When using, simply press the button lightly with your finger, and the water in the tank will flow out through the pipes to carry away the waste. Some public toilets are designed with dual buttons for 'large' and 'small' flushing to enhance water conservation: for solid waste, press the 'large flush' button for a larger volume of water to ensure thorough cleaning; for liquid waste, press the 'small flush' button for a smaller volume of water, which meets the cleaning needs while reducing water waste. When operating, note that the buttons are usually mechanical and require a slight amount of pressure to ensure triggering, but avoid pressing too hard to prevent damage to the buttons.
2. Sensor-type flushing
Sensor-type flushing uses infrared or human body sensing technology to achieve 'touch-free' operation, which is more hygienic and convenient. Common sensing areas include the side of the toilet bowl, the front of the squat pan, or a separately installed black sensing panel. When using, bring your hand or a part of your body (such as your leg) close to the sensing area and hold it for 2-3 seconds. The system will detect the signal and automatically trigger the flushing. Some smart public toilets may have a wider sensing range, and flushing can even be automatically triggered when you simply stand up and leave. Note that sensor-type flushing relies on electricity or battery power. If the device malfunctions (e.g., the sensing light does not turn on), you may need to switch to a backup button for flushing or contact the management staff for repairs.
3. Other special flushing methods
Some mobile public toilets adopt more intelligent flushing technologies. For example, smart toilets may be equipped with an 'auto-flush upon leaving the seat' function: when the user stands up and leaves the toilet bowl, the sensor detects the weight change and automatically starts the flushing program without manual operation. In addition, foot-kick flushing is common in squat pan designs, with the sensing area located below the outside of the toilet bowl. The user only needs to lightly kick this area with their foot to trigger the flushing, avoiding hand contact contamination. These methods usually combine sensing and mechanical structures. When operating, pay attention to the sensitivity of the sensing area. If it fails to trigger, apply a bit more force or adjust the kicking position.
Summary: The flushing methods of mobile public toilets are designed with both practicality and hygiene in mind. Users can choose the corresponding operation according to the signs inside the toilet or the type of equipment. If you encounter equipment malfunctions or have operation questions, you can check if there are usage instructions posted inside the toilet or contact the on-site management staff for assistance.
