How to Fix a Mobile Toilet Room

Admin 27 de septiembre de 2026

There are several main methods for fixing a mobile toilet room, and you can choose the appropriate one based on the actual scenario and needs:

  1. Using professional ground anchors
Professional ground anchors are one of the common ways to fix a mobile toilet room. By installing expansion screws or weighted sandbags at the bottom of the toilet room, its stability can be significantly enhanced. It is recommended to equip each toilet room with 4 fixing points, evenly distributed around the bottom to ensure balanced force. Expansion screws are suitable for hard surfaces such as concrete. By drilling holes and then screwing in the screws, the toilet room can be tightly connected to the ground. Weighted sandbags are suitable for surfaces where drilling is not possible, such as asphalt or stone slabs. They prevent displacement by pressing down on the bottom of the toilet room with their weight.

  2. Utilizing adjustable anchor bolts on the chassis
The chassis of a mobile toilet room is usually equipped with adjustable anchor bolts, with a general adjustment range of 50 - 100mm. During installation, rotate the bolts to adjust the levelness of the toilet room and ensure its stable placement. This method is especially suitable for uneven ground surfaces, such as outdoor grass or slopes. After adjustment, the bolts need to be tightened to prevent loosening and avoid tilting or shaking of the toilet room due to ground undulations.

  3. Using expansion bolts or screw piles
In outdoor temporary use scenarios, expansion bolts or screw piles are effective fixing methods. Expansion bolts are about 300 - 600mm long. They need to be inserted and tightened after drilling holes and are suitable for hard surfaces. Screw piles are screwed into the soil by rotation, with a depth of more than 50cm, suitable for soft surfaces such as soil or sand. Both methods can provide strong wind resistance and prevent the toilet room from being displaced by strong winds or accidental collisions.

  4. Fixing after ground pretreatment
If the ground condition is poor, such as having pits or being prone to water accumulation, pretreatment is required first: level the ground and lay anti-slip mats to prevent the bottom of the toilet room from getting damp or sliding due to water accumulation after rain. Then, use expansion screws or weighted blocks (such as concrete blocks) to fix the toilet room and ensure its tight connection with the ground. This method is suitable for long-term use scenarios and can effectively extend the service life of the toilet room and enhance safety.

Precautions: Before fixing, check the ground bearing capacity to avoid fixing failure due to soft ground. Regularly check whether the fixing components (such as screws and bolts) are loose and tighten them in a timely manner to ensure stability.
