How to Decorate a Container House

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

The decoration of a container house can be carried out through aspects such as exterior scenery, internal space zoning, color matching, and functional design to create a warm, comfortable, and personalized living space.

Exterior Decoration

  • Paint Selection: The exterior of the container can be coated with a smooth black paint, giving it a more solemn and dignified appearance. This creates a stark contrast with the interior's natural wood color, creating a visual impact.
  • Stair Design: Metal stairs are more stable. Railings can be installed on both sides for safety, and bright green decorative strips can be added to clearly indicate positions in the dark and prevent collisions.
  • Balcony Creation: The rooftop balcony is an excellent leisure spot where a large area can be paved for enjoyment. A small extended balcony can be set up at the entrance of the house, designed with a wooden deck to enrich the sense of hierarchy. Paired with a highly transparent glass door with a wooden frame, it adds a rustic and natural charm.

Internal Space Zoning and Decoration

  • Bathroom: Use wooden walls for partitioning to achieve dry-wet separation. Blue gradient tiles are used for paving, which are both aesthetically pleasing and waterproof and moisture-proof. The suspended sink design is novel, and the marble material is durable and easy to clean. Space is reserved below for storage.
  • Kitchen: The kitchen mainly features a linear countertop. Additional cabinets and overhead cabinets are installed on the walls and opposite sides to expand storage space. Simple light strips are used on the top to provide illumination, matching the overall decoration style and saving energy at the same time.
  • Living Room and Bedroom: For small spaces, multi-functional furniture such as foldable tables and chairs and custom-made beds can be used to adjust the space ratio according to actual needs. The bedroom can adopt an integrated design to reduce spatial barriers. The custom-made bed can be folded, and in the semi-folded state, it can be used as a sofa.

Color and Material Matching

  • Color Selection: The interior mainly uses natural wood color as the base tone to create a warm and natural atmosphere. It can be paired with white tones to make the space brighter and more spacious.
  • Material Application: A large amount of wood is used to highlight clean lines and a warm atmosphere. Large areas of glass make the interior brighter and warmer while providing a good view.
