How to Charge for Mobile Toilets

Admin 10 de octubre de 2026

There are various charging methods for mobile toilets, including charging by time, by usage frequency, by the number of units and usage period in a package, and a model of base fee plus deposit. There may also be additional fees such as cleaning fees and transportation fees.

  1. Charging by Time
Rent is calculated by the hour, day, or month. Users can choose the rental duration according to their actual needs, and long-term rentals may be eligible for certain discounts. For example, for mobile toilet rentals at construction sites in Nanchang, the daily rent for one unit may range from 100 to 200 yuan, with the specific price fluctuating based on the toilet's specifications, condition, and rental duration. If the rental period exceeds one month, some companies may offer discounts. For mobile toilet rentals at construction sites in Jiangxi, the base rent is usually between 20 and 50 yuan per unit per day. If the rental period exceeds one month, the total price after monthly discounts from some companies may drop to between 15 and 30 yuan per day. It should be noted that some merchants may confuse the two charging methods of 'usage frequency' and 'rental duration'. For instance, they may claim 'charging by usage frequency' but actually calculate the fee based on the time from delivery to retrieval. It is advisable to clarify with the merchant in advance whether the charge is based on the actual number of usage hours or natural days (24 hours).

  2. Charging by Usage Frequency
This method is suitable for public events, gatherings, etc. Users only need to pay a fee for each use and do not have to worry about the rental duration, which is convenient for temporary events.

  3. Charging by the Number of Units and Usage Period in a Package
For construction sites that require long-term use of mobile toilets, such as projects with a duration of more than three months, rental companies may offer package deals. For example, renting 10 toilets at a construction site in Nanchang for three months may cost between 20,000 and 30,000 yuan, which is more cost-effective compared to daily charging.

  4. Base Fee + Deposit Model
Some rental companies charge a base fee, such as transportation and installation fees, usually ranging from 200 to 500 yuan, plus a daily rent. At the same time, a certain amount of deposit is required to ensure the toilets are returned in good condition. The deposit will be fully refunded if there is no damage upon return, and the deposit amount is generally equivalent to the value of a single toilet.

In addition, there may be additional fees such as cleaning fees, transportation fees, and customization fees for special requirements, which need to be negotiated and determined with the rental company.
