How to Charge for Container Houses

The charging methods for container houses are diverse, mainly divided into purchase and rental, with prices affected by factors such as size, material, and decoration level.

Purchase Prices

• Basic Model Prices: For a standard 3-meter by 6-meter (approximately 18 square meters) container house, the price range is wide. A brand-new basic model may cost 'tens of thousands of yuan', with some priced between 5,000 and 12,000 yuan. Second-hand models usually cost less than 10,000 yuan, with some around 5,000 yuan. For example, some residential container mobile homes can be purchased for 5,800 yuan, including basic wall insulation, double-glazed windows, non-slip flooring, LED lighting, and pre-installed electrical outlets. Another example is a decorated container with an interior area of about 13 square meters, priced at approximately 12,000 yuan each, with a price per square meter of nearly 900 yuan.
• High-End Custom Model Prices: For high-end or custom container houses with better materials and interior decoration, such as tiled floors and stone-like exterior walls, prices are higher. A container house measuring 3 meters long, 3 meters wide, and 2.8 meters high, with an area of 9 square meters, generally costs around 7,500 yuan each. One measuring 6 meters long, 3 meters wide, and 2.8 meters high, with an area of 18 square meters, generally costs around 11,000 yuan each. Another measuring 7 meters long, 3 meters wide, and 2.8 meters high, with an area of 21 square meters and used as a two-story house, generally costs around 12,600 yuan each.

Rental Prices

• Daily Rates: Rental is calculated on a daily basis, with the daily rent for a container house generally starting at over 3 yuan. There is usually a minimum rental period requirement, such as 120 days, and freight is charged separately. For example, the daily rent for a 3-meter by 3-meter container is 3 yuan; for a 6-meter by 3-meter container, it is 6 yuan per day; for a 7-meter by 3-meter container, it is also 6 yuan per day; and for custom-sized containers, the daily rent is similarly 6 yuan.
• Special Cases: Some container houses have higher rental prices, such as those that are fireproof, waterproof, moisture-proof, windproof, shockproof, and rainproof, with specific requirements for house size and material.
