How to Build a Container Mobile House

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

Building a container mobile house involves steps such as design planning, foundation construction, container modification and installation, decoration and facility installation, and acceptance and maintenance, as follows:

I. Design Planning

  1. Determine Purpose and Function: Clarify the purpose of the house, such as residential, office, or commercial use, and plan internal functional areas like bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms.
  2. Select Container Type and Quantity: Choose standard container sizes (e.g., 20-foot, 40-foot) and quantities based on needs, considering splicing or stacking methods to expand space.
  3. Design Layout and Structure: Draw floor plans and 3D diagrams, determine container connection methods (e.g., welding, bolt fixation) and structural reinforcement plans to ensure stability and safety.

II. Foundation Construction

  1. Site Leveling and Foundation Treatment: Clear the site to ensure a flat surface, and select an appropriate foundation form (e.g., concrete piers, pile foundations) based on geological conditions to prevent house tilting or settlement.
  2. Pre-embed Pipelines: Plan and pre-embed water and electricity pipelines in advance to ensure convenient subsequent installation.

III. Container Modification and Installation

  1. Container Cutting and Reinforcement: Cut door and window openings according to design requirements and reinforce the cut areas to prevent structural damage.
  2. Container Connection and Fixation: Connect multiple containers through welding or bolt fixation to form an overall structure, ensuring a firm connection.
  3. Install Doors, Windows, and Roof Panels: Install doors and windows at the reserved openings, lay roof panels, and perform waterproofing, such as using glass curtain wall waterproofing adhesive.

IV. Decoration and Facility Installation

  1. Internal Decoration: Lay floor leather or flooring, install wall and ceiling materials (e.g., color-coated steel plates, wood veneers) to enhance living comfort.
  2. Install Water and Electricity Facilities: Connect pre-embedded pipelines, install lighting fixtures, switches, sockets, air conditioning holes, etc., to ensure complete water and electricity functions.
  3. Install Furniture and Equipment: Install furniture and kitchen and bathroom equipment according to functional requirements to enhance house practicality.

V. Acceptance and Maintenance

  1. Structural Acceptance: Check container connections, reinforced areas, and overall structural stability to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  2. Waterproofing and Sealing Inspection: Check the sealing of doors, windows, roof panels, and container joints to prevent water leakage.
  3. Regular Maintenance: Regularly inspect rust prevention treatments, sealant replacement, and internal condensation, and perform timely repairs and maintenance to extend the house's service life.
