How About Container Integrated Houses

Admin 16 de septiembre de 2026

Container integrated houses have advantages such as modularity, convenience, and strong adaptability, but they also have shortcomings like weak thermal insulation and sound insulation, and a relatively short lifespan. They are suitable for temporary scenarios and not ideal as permanent self-occupied housing.

Advantages:

  • Modular Design: Using containers as basic units, they can be used individually or combined in different directions to form spacious areas, with a maximum of 3 layers stacked vertically to meet diverse spatial needs.
  • Easy Installation: The container unit structure uses specially shaped steel welded standard components, with containers connected by bolts for a stable structure. For example, some quick-assembly container houses can be fully assembled, powered, and water-connected within 4 hours by two workers working together, demonstrating high installation efficiency.
  • Strong Environmental Adaptability: Cold-resistant container houses can maintain a comfortable indoor temperature in extremely cold environments by adding heating measures, with excellent thermal insulation. Assembled houses have good anti-corrosion, sealing, and thermal insulation properties. Light steel modular products can be fully or semi-prefabricated according to application scenarios, offering advantages such as earthquake and wind resistance, fire and thermal insulation. The LR series has excellent regulatory performance in different temperature environments.
  • Short Construction Period: Wall panels, roofs, and other components are prefabricated in factories and assembled on-site like LEGO blocks, allowing for quick commissioning in just a few days, saving a significant amount of time compared to traditional construction methods.
  • Economical and Environmentally Friendly: Light steel structures start at 1500 yuan per square meter, half the cost of brick houses. Materials are recyclable, reducing construction waste by 90%, aligning with environmental protection concepts.
  • Customizable: Layout design and interior and exterior decoration can be customized according to actual needs. For example, the LR series maximizes space utilization and aesthetics to meet customer personalized requirements.

Shortcomings: The thermal insulation and sound insulation effects are relatively weak, with a wall thickness of only 20 centimeters, resulting in poor experiences in northern winters and significant noise impact for houses by the roadside. If inferior panels are used, the sound of materials creaking can be heard on rainy days. The lifespan is shorter than that of brick houses, with light steel structures lasting up to 50 years and wooden structures requiring major repairs after 30 years.

Suitable Scenarios: They are suitable for temporary scenarios such as construction site dormitories, trendy bed-and-breakfasts, and temporary resettlement houses in hometowns, but not ideal as permanent self-occupied housing, especially in northern regions.
