How About Container House Rental
Container house rental offers high flexibility and controllable costs, but it is necessary to comprehensively consider factors such as applicable scenarios, cost structure, and maintenance responsibilities.

Applicable Scenarios and Rental Periods: Container house rental is suitable for temporary scenarios such as construction sites, municipal projects, and wilderness operation camps. If the usage period is within 3 months, rental offers high flexibility; if the usage period is over 1 year, purchasing may be more economical. They come in various specifications, with standard containers measuring 3 meters × 6 meters × 2.8 meters and covering an area of approximately 18 square meters. They can be equipped with air conditioners, restrooms, and other facilities to meet the needs of dormitories and offices.
Cost Structure and Pricing Factors: Rental prices are influenced by multiple factors. The daily rental for ordinary container houses is approximately 6-12 yuan, with monthly rentals ranging from 180-360 yuan; containers with air conditioning or special decorations are priced higher. The core cost is container depreciation, including steel corrosion, insulation material aging, and door and window wear. The longer the rental period, the lower the daily price; the more units rented, the more transportation and installation costs can be shared. Transportation costs account for as much as 30%-50% of the total. If the site cannot accommodate standard vehicles, additional secondary transportation fees are required, resulting in significant regional differences in rental costs. Beyond a radius of 200 kilometers, transportation fees may exceed the monthly rent.
Maintenance Responsibilities and Environmental Adaptability: The outer steel shell is highly weather-resistant, but the sealing strips at welded joints need to be replaced every 12-18 months. If the lessee conducts welding or cutting operations inside the container, it may accelerate steel plate corrosion, and repair costs must be borne according to the contract. In extreme climates, the metal shell causes significant temperature fluctuations inside the container, with the top temperature reaching over 50°C in summer and possibly falling below 0°C in winter, requiring additional air conditioning equipment. Some rental providers offer improvement solutions such as double-layer roofs or external sunshades, which can reduce the internal roof temperature difference by 5-8°C.
Rental Process and Contract Highlights: The process includes clarifying the purpose, confirming the site, selecting a plan, signing the contract, arranging transportation, and inspecting and using the container. The contract should focus on the rental unit price, deposit (usually 1000-3000 yuan per unit), minimum rental period, transportation fees, maintenance responsibilities, and damage compensation standards. For example, natural corrosion is limited to a 1-centimeter diameter puncture, with the lessee responsible for any damage beyond this limit.
