House Prefabricated Slab Reinforcement
Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026
There are various methods for reinforcing house prefabricated slabs, and an appropriate plan should be selected based on the actual safety appraisal results of the house.

Common Reinforcement Methods
- Foundation Reinforcement: Enhance the bearing capacity of the foundation by increasing its size, deepening its depth, or adding steel reinforcement mesh. Additionally, reinforcement agents or sealing materials can be added to improve seismic performance.
- Structural Reinforcement: Install steel beams, columns, or plates at key locations such as walls, stairs, and roofs, or inject reinforced concrete, or add metal frames to the exterior walls to enhance overall strength and stability.
- Seismic Isolation Reinforcement: Install spring or rubber seismic isolators in the foundation or structure to reduce the horizontal and vertical impact forces of earthquakes on the building.
- Steel Bar Reinforcement: Add steel bars to walls, stairs, beams, and columns to improve the overall stability of the structure.
- Increasing Slab Section Reinforcement: Add a reinforced concrete adhesive layer not less than 40 mm thick to the surface and bottom of the prefabricated slab to enhance its bearing capacity.
- Carbon Fiber Sheet Reinforcement: Adhere carbon fiber sheets along the tensile direction of the prefabricated slab, with anchor points set at the top, suitable for scenarios with a slight increase in load.
- Steel Plate Reinforcement: Enhance the bearing capacity of flexural members by adhering steel plates, but note the issue of easy separation between the steel plate and concrete.
- Grouting Reinforcement: Inject grout into walls or foundations to enhance overall strength and seismic performance, preventing deformation or cracks.
- Steel Reinforcement Mesh Reinforcement: Lay steel reinforcement mesh on walls or slabs to enhance structural stability.
- Steel Plate Bonding Reinforcement: Directly adhere steel plates to repair cracked or deformed areas, enhancing bearing capacity.
- Adding Support Reinforcement: Enhance the bearing capacity of walls or roofs by adding support structures.
- Profile Steel Reinforcement: Set profile steel at the four corners under the prefabricated slab to form an octagonal support system, effectively improving the slab's bearing capacity.
- Plywood Reinforcement: Use mature techniques to reinforce the prefabricated slab.
Reinforcement Precautions
- Scientific Material Selection: Choose reinforcement materials based on functional requirements, such as high-strength materials for enhancing bearing capacity and support structures for seismic reinforcement.
- Standardized Construction: Ensure details such as complete adhesion between carbon fiber sheets and the slab and tight connections of steel structural collars are of high quality.
- Strict Acceptance Inspection: Verify the reinforcement effect using methods such as ultrasonic testing and radiographic testing.
- Environmentally Friendly Construction: Take noise reduction and dust prevention measures to minimize the impact on the surrounding environment.
- Long-Term Maintenance: Regularly inspect the reinforced areas and promptly address potential hazards.
- Priority on Safety Assessment: For houses where the strength of prestressed steel bars is lost after a fire or where the entire slab is fractured due to foundation settlement, the cost of reinforcement is high and the effect is limited, so demolition and reconstruction are recommended.
