Home Portable Toilet Installation Guide
Admin 02 de octubre de 2026
Here is the installation guide for home portable toilets:

Planning and Preparation Before Installation
- Determine the Type and Specifications: Choose the appropriate type based on usage frequency, disposal convenience, budget, and available space, such as dry composting toilets, packing toilets, or micro biological treatment toilets. For example, a dry composting toilet is suitable for long-term household use with sufficient space, while a packing toilet is ideal for temporary or small-space scenarios.
- Location Consideration: Select a well-ventilated, concealed, and convenient location. Ensure the ground is sturdy and level to prevent the toilet from wobbling or being damaged due to uneven ground later.
- Space and Dimension Measurement: Accurately measure the net space dimensions of the intended placement location. Reserve enough space for installation, use, and maintenance operations, such as leaving at least 30 centimeters of space on the sides for easy cleaning.
- Preparation of Supporting Facilities: Prepare covering materials (such as hay or sawdust), exhaust fans (for use in poorly ventilated areas), power outlets (for electric models), cleaning and disinfection tools (such as brushes and disinfectants), etc., according to the type of toilet.
Installation Steps
- Unpacking Inspection and Verification: After opening the package, check each component against the instruction manual list one by one to ensure there are no damages or missing parts. If any are found, contact the merchant promptly for replacement.
- Main Frame Assembly: Follow the instructions in the manual and use the provided tools to firmly connect the toilet base, tank body (or treatment chamber), as well as the upper toilet seat and lid. Check that all screws and connectors are secure to avoid usage problems caused by loosening later.
- Placement and Leveling: Place the assembled toilet at the predetermined location and use a level to ensure it is level. This can be achieved by adjusting the bottom support feet or shims.
- Installation Details (for some models):
- Install silicone anti-slip pads in the four corners of the bottom to enhance stability.
- Align the upper and lower tank bodies and press down on the buckles to secure them, ensuring airtightness.
- When installing the toilet flange, align the center of the flange with the center of the sewer pipe and then place the toilet correctly.
- Install the angle valve and connect the three-way joint for the water inlet and showerhead. Screw on the toilet water inlet hose, assemble the toilet showerhead and tighten the sealing gaskets at both ends. Connect it to the other end of the three-way joint and firmly clamp the showerhead bracket onto the top of the three-way joint.
Testing and Finalization
After testing the toilet for water to confirm there are no leaks and the drainage is smooth, apply sealant at the contact point between the bottom of the toilet and the ground to enhance airtightness and stability.
