Heilongjiang Cold-Proof Container House
The Heilongjiang cold-proof container house is a modular building designed for severe cold climates, achieving efficient cold protection and flexible application through structural reinforcement, insulation upgrades, and climate-adaptive design.

I. Structural and Material Optimization
Reinforced Base Frame
Constructed with high-strength steel, the standard container frame complies with ISO international standards, offering waterproof and fireproof properties while supporting flexible assembly and disassembly. For Heilongjiang's frost-heaving geology, foundation treatments include independent, strip, or raft foundations, with optimized building-to-foundation connections to prevent structural deformation caused by frost heaving.Thermal Insulation System
The container body is filled with high-efficiency insulation materials such as rock wool boards, polyurethane foam, or extruded polystyrene boards, forming a continuous thermal barrier. For instance, one project adopted a 15 cm thick reinforced insulation layer, significantly improving thermal performance. The composite wall structure features an “outer steel plate + intermediate insulation layer + inner decorative panel” design, balancing strength and aesthetics; the roof is reinforced with insulation and waterproofing layers to prevent snowmelt infiltration.Window and Door Sealing Technology
Double- or triple-glazed insulated windows and doors are used, with profiles made of low-thermal-conductivity materials like thermal-break aluminum or plastic-steel. Weather-resistant sealing strips are applied at the connections between windows/doors and the container body to ensure airtightness, reducing cold air infiltration and heat loss.
II. Climate-Adaptive Design
Low-Temperature Environment Adaptation
Some projects incorporate underfloor heating systems, providing radiant heating to enhance living comfort, particularly suited for extreme cold scenarios. Insulation layer thickness and materials are optimized based on Heilongjiang's climate data to maintain comfortable indoor temperatures in environments below -20°C.Moisture Control and Ventilation Design
Vapor barriers are installed to prevent condensation within walls, while adjustable vents or small fresh air systems are used to balance indoor-outdoor temperature differentials, addressing condensation issues and preventing material mildew.
III. Modularity and Flexibility
Container houses are built as standard modules, supporting horizontal or vertical assembly. On-site construction involves only lifting, connecting, and interior installation, significantly shortening construction cycles and enabling whole-unit relocation for reuse. The interior layout adopts a modular design, with electrical wiring and plumbing pre-integrated into wall cavities or raised floors for easy maintenance and customization.
IV. Typical Application Scenarios
Heilongjiang cold-proof container houses are widely used in cultural tourism homestays, rural public facilities, emergency support, commercial complements, and other fields, becoming a key direction for green prefabricated buildings in severe cold regions.
