Hebei Prefabricated Component House
Hebei prefabricated component houses (prefabricated houses) are a new type of building form centered around factory-prefabricated components and constructed through modular assembly. They offer advantages such as high efficiency, environmental friendliness, and low cost, and have become an important direction for rural and urban construction in Hebei.

1. Construction Method and Characteristics
Prefabricated houses use standardized factory production of prefabricated components (such as wall panels, beams, and columns) and achieve rapid construction through modular assembly and integration of green technologies. The construction site resembles industrial assembly, reducing dust pollution and labor dependence associated with traditional house building. For example, the two-story house of villager Zhao Huizhen in Ningjin County, Xingtai, Hebei, was built in just a few months through the assembly of prefabricated components, demonstrating the efficiency of "building like assembling blocks."
2. Significant Advantages in Efficiency and Cost
- Short Construction Period: Traditional brick-and-mortar houses take nearly a year, while prefabricated houses can be completed from start to finish in just a few months, reducing the construction period by three times.
- Low Cost: Overall construction costs can be reduced by more than 30%, and construction waste is reduced by 80%. For example, villager Li Zhanjun in Weichang County, Chengde City, built a prefabricated house for just over 110,000 yuan with the help of policy subsidies.
- Energy Efficiency and Environmental Protection: Heating in winter and cooling in summer consume 30% less energy compared to traditional houses, providing a comfortable living experience with warm winters and cool summers, in line with green building standards.
3. Policy Support and Large-Scale Promotion
Hebei took the lead in launching a pilot program for prefabricated rural houses in 2022, providing a provincial subsidy of 10,000 yuan per household and enabling full online application and processing through the "Yunongtong" APP. By the end of 2025, a cumulative total of 20,000 rural households across the province had voluntarily chosen to build prefabricated houses, covering townships in 45 counties (cities and districts). From the beginning of spring 2025 to the present, 2,717 new households have started construction, indicating a clear trend toward large-scale application.
4. Corporate Innovation and Market Expansion
Hebei companies have enhanced cost-effectiveness through models such as e-commerce livestreaming and eliminating intermediary distribution channels. For example, Hebei Damei Tongyi Integrated Housing Technology Co., Ltd. has formed a complete chain of "factory production - cloud display - online transactions - on-site construction." In 2025, the company conducted over 500 livestreaming sessions, with online orders accounting for more than half of total sales, continuously improving market recognition.
5. Diversified Application Scenarios
Prefabricated houses are not only used for rural self-built houses but have also expanded into areas such as prefabricated villas, scenic space capsules, and characteristic cultural and tourism housing, meeting diverse needs in residential and cultural tourism sectors and becoming a new trend in rural construction.
