Haian Container House Renovation
The renovation of container houses in Haian is mainly applied in the fields of old-city renovation and relocation services, smart farming, and logistics, and there have been cases of illegal construction being dealt with.
Old-city renovation and relocation services: In the old-city renovation project on Zhongdajie Street in Libao Town, to serve the relocated residents, staff members are on duty 24 hours a day at the newly added 'practice points', some of which are set up in container-style panel houses. Inside these container panel houses, staff members promote relocation policies, receive residents to handle practical matters, and listen to public opinions to mediate conflicts. For example, in temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius, the task force坚守 (should be translated as 'stays') in the container-style panel houses to provide 'zero-distance' services to the residents, ensuring that the relocation work is carried out in an open, transparent, harmonious, and stable manner, winning the support of the people.
Smart farming: In Haian Village, Sanxing Town, containers originally used for large-scale cultivation of magnolia vegetables have been renovated into smart farming chambers. When magnolia vegetables are not suitable for cultivation in summer, the containers are upgraded, such as by hanging light strips to provide weak light and replacing the planting racks to stack packages of the medicinal fungus Sanghuang. Haian Village provides the facilities, and Shenzhen Village provides the technology, achieving cross-village industrial collaboration. This renovation allows idle resources to be utilized even during the off-season. It is expected that the sales revenue from the harvested and dried Sanghuang slices will be substantial. Moreover, after the harvest, the smart farming chambers can seamlessly switch back to magnolia vegetable cultivation, achieving a 'one-chamber, two-uses' and year-round industrial cycle.
Logistics field: Relying on its hub advantages, Fengshan Port vigorously develops container intermodal transportation services, providing enterprises with one-stop service solutions including logistics transportation, warehousing, assembly and transshipment, and in-port container loading. The newly added gantry cranes in the first-phase yard renovation project have been put into use, effectively improving container handling capacity and reducing enterprises' comprehensive logistics costs.
Handling of illegal construction: There have been cases in Haian where residents in residential areas have illegally constructed containers. Such construction seriously obstructs the view and poses safety hazards, and relevant departments have dealt with such behaviors.
