Guangzhou Combined Container House
Admin 16 de septiembre de 2026
Guangzhou combined container houses are movable buildings formed by splicing and combining containers as basic modules. They have the characteristics of flexible customization, rapid construction, and cost-effectiveness, and are widely used in scenarios such as temporary construction sites, commercial shops, homestay hotels, and office accommodations.

I. Main Types and Structural Features
- According to the structural source and construction method, they can be divided into customized fixed box modules (with a high degree of factory production and non-standard corner fittings arrangements) and variable box modules (with wall panels that can be flipped/extended, such as expandable shops). According to the box body forming process, they can be classified as integral welded, light steel keel, plug-in, and folding types.
- Based on the spatial combination form, they can be categorized as single-box landing (such as temporary dormitories and sentry boxes), horizontal box assembly (transversely connected to form conference rooms or exhibition halls), vertical box stacking (dormitories or hotels within 6 floors), and offset/cantilevered/L-shaped enclosures (for popular homestays and cafes).
- According to functional purposes, they can be divided into accommodation, office, commercial service (shops, convenience stores), sanitary, and special boxes (medical, explosion-proof, and refrigerated boxes).
II. Core Materials and Performance
- The main materials commonly used are steel (weathering steel, stainless steel) or aluminum alloy, and the enclosure structure mostly adopts color-steel sandwich panels (the fire rating must comply with GB50016, and A-grade rock wool/glass wool is used in crowded places).
- The structural load is mainly borne by a pure steel frame, with the wall and roof panels not bearing weight. The force transmission path is "panel secondary beam → main beam → corner column → corner fitting → foundation", and the corner fitting is the only stacking force transmission point.
- The seismic design is ≤ 8 degrees, the wind resistance is up to 9 degrees, the high-temperature resistance is ≤ 50℃, the cold resistance is ≤ -50℃, and the design service life is 50 years (structural coefficient ≥ 1.0) or 25 years (≥ 0.95).
III. Application Scenarios and Advantages
- Temporary construction sites: such as access control rooms, security rooms, and dormitories, supporting rapid disassembly and assembly and multiple recycling.
- Commercial services: creative shops, popular homestays, and scenic spot sales kiosks, supporting personalized interior and exterior decoration and water and electricity facilities.
- Emergency scenarios: medical and equipment boxes can be quickly deployed to meet temporary office or accommodation needs.
- Advantages include: modular design for flexible combination, factory prefabrication for quality control, convenient transportation and installation, and lower cost than traditional buildings.
