German Prefabricated Housing Finished Products

Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026

German prefabricated housing finished products are characterized by fast construction speed, comprehensive cost considerations, relatively standardized design, environmental protection and energy efficiency, as well as reasonable internal structure.

Fast construction speed: Most of the components of German prefabricated houses, such as walls and roofs, are produced in factories and then transported to the construction site for direct assembly. This production method significantly speeds up on-site construction, is relatively less affected by weather conditions, and makes the construction process more standardized. For example, there are cases where six people can complete the construction of a prefabricated house in just two days, greatly shortening the construction period.

Comprehensive cost considerations: The cost of prefabricated houses cannot be simply compared directly with that of traditional building structures. The 'turnkey price' does not necessarily equal the 'total cost', as items such as site surveying, earthwork, basement or floor foundations, and water and electricity connections may need to be calculated separately. In addition, the configurations of show houses are often higher than the base quotes, and optional upgrades can also reduce the price advantage. However, compared with traditional on-site construction operations, prefabricated buildings can better ensure the quality of the house during construction, saving resources and time for later interior decoration, and showing more obvious advantages in large-scale applications.

Relatively standardized design: German prefabricated houses usually adopt relatively standardized designs while also having a certain degree of flexibility. For example, some residential areas use open prefabricated concrete frame systems, providing a variety of housing types within a unified structural framework to meet the needs of different resident groups.

Environmental protection and energy efficiency: The external cladding panels of German prefabricated houses adopt a structure of two layers of concrete with a 50-thick extruded polystyrene board in between. This provides better thermal insulation performance than the external wall insulation of traditional buildings and effectively solves problems such as the脱落 (peeling off) of exterior wall decorations caused by insulation work in traditional buildings. At the same time, customized production in factories allows most workers to operate uniformly in the factory, greatly reducing construction waste at the construction site and being more environmentally friendly.

Reasonable internal structure: Taking a certain prefabricated house as an example, its entrance door is set at a certain height above the ground, and the entrance area is reasonably laid out, equipped with a guest toilet and a workroom. Upstairs, functional areas such as a kitchen, dining room, and living room are planned. Moreover, the kitchen design is well thought out, with plans for a C-shaped or U-shaped layout, equipped with an island counter and tall cabinets.
