Gaoyao District Container House Construction

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

The construction of container houses in Gaoyao District is mainly applied in agricultural watchhouses, traffic environment improvement, and specific project scenarios, and must strictly adhere to safety regulations.

Agricultural Watchhouse Sector

Gaoyao District has procured a large number of containers for the renovation of agricultural watchhouses. The purchased containers come in different specifications and models. For example, Model C containers have external dimensions of ≥2500mm×2500mm×2650mm and internal dimensions of ≥2425mm×2425mm×2510mm; Model A containers have external dimensions of ≥5980mm×3000mm×2650mm and internal dimensions of ≥5820mm×2780mm×2510mm; Model B containers have external dimensions of ≥3000mm×3000mm×2650mm and internal dimensions of ≥2780mm×2780mm×2510mm. These container watchhouses, after upgrading in the fields of Jindu Town, are neat and aesthetically pleasing, with some even featuring straw roofs. Additionally, the renovation of power, communication, and radio and television 'three-line' infrastructure has been strengthened, improving the agricultural production environment.

Traffic Environment Improvement

In the process of advancing the 'Hundred-Thousand-Million Project,' Jinli Town has improved the appearance and environment along major traffic arteries. By deploying containers and other means, the architectural facade styles along the main roads have been unified, achieving significant improvements through 'micro-renovations' of rural housing. For example, 19 renovated sheds and some containers have been placed along the Guangkun Expressway, and 5 containers have been placed along Jinli Avenue, creating a colorful scenic belt.

Safety Regulation Requirements

The 'November 11' major fire accident at Zhaoqing Gaoyao Rijiansheng Building Materials Store highlights the stringent safety requirements for container house construction. In this accident, due to electrical circuit failures, container movable panel houses made of flammable materials were used as living quarters. Shelves were set up around them, filled with a large amount of flammable materials. There was no effective fire separation between the living and business premises, electrical circuits were haphazardly connected, debris at the entrance of the container house obstructed escape routes, and necessary fire-fighting equipment was not installed. These factors led to the rapid spread of the fire, resulting in three fatalities. This indicates that container house construction must involve reasonable planning of usage, proper fire separation, standardized electrical circuits, unobstructed escape routes, and the provision of necessary fire-fighting equipment.
