Gansu Modern Mobile Toilet

Admin 23 de septiembre de 2026

The Gansu modern mobile toilet is an outdoor sanitation facility centered around modular assembly, integrating eco-friendly treatment technologies and diverse functional designs. It features strong adaptability, easy maintenance, energy conservation, and environmental protection, making it widely applicable in tourist attractions, outdoor events, and temporary urban needs.

Modular Assembly and Adaptive Design

The Gansu modern mobile toilet adopts a modular design, with structural frames, internal facilities, and sewage systems prefabricated in factories and then transported to the site for assembly. Modularity includes independent box structures, with walls, roofs, and water supply/drainage and ventilation systems separated for easy maintenance and replacement. For Gansu's complex terrain, such as areas with significant slopes, horizontal installation can be achieved by adjusting supports; facilities along the Hexi Corridor are reinforced for wind and sand resistance, while units in the Longnan mountainous region are optimized for mold prevention, all achieved through adjustments in material formulations and sealing processes without altering the overall framework.

Internal Treatment Systems and Water Conservation

The internal treatment systems are divided into three types: waterless packaging, microbial degradation, and physical separation. The waterless packaging system uses biodegradable films to seal waste; the microbial degradation system accelerates organic matter decomposition through bacterial strains; the physical separation system utilizes solid-liquid separation devices, with filtered liquid discharged or reused. All three systems eliminate the odors associated with traditional pit toilets, reduce water consumption, and some tourist attractions have adopted microbial degradation technology to achieve zero-flush treatment.

Energy Supply and Material Selection

In areas of Gansu with abundant sunlight, solar photovoltaic panels serve as the primary energy source, with some facilities equipped with small wind turbines for complementary wind-solar power generation. Energy storage units use lithium battery packs to ensure basic functionality for several days under conditions without sunlight or wind. Exterior wall panels are made of metal carved panels or fiberglass sheets, which are corrosion-resistant and UV-resistant; internal partitions use antibacterial composite materials to inhibit microbial growth; the floor is coated with quartz sand-reinforced epoxy resin for slip resistance and waterproofing.

Transportation, Installation, and Maintenance Management

Standard unit dimensions are suitable for transportation on ordinary roads. During installation, specialized lifting equipment is used to complete the main assembly within a few hours, with foundation preparation requiring only leveling the ground and laying concrete prefabricated blocks, eliminating the need for deep excavation. Maintenance involves regular checks of sewage containers, battery levels, and consumable inventories; microbial degradation systems require periodic addition of bacterial agents, with all operations following standardized procedures to ensure uniform service levels.

Functional Expansion and Industry Status

Some outdoor units integrate additional modules, such as simple shower compartments or emergency call buttons in tourist areas, using plug-in designs that do not affect the stability of the main structure. Gansu has developed a sizable industry, with enterprises concentrated in tourist cities like Lanzhou, Tianshui, and Dunhuang. Products cover eco-friendly and smart types, with application scenarios including tourist attractions, outdoor events, construction sites, and temporary urban needs. Technological innovations are driving upgrades towards low-carbon and environmental protection.
