Types of Mobile Toilets in Gansu
Mobile toilets in Gansu mainly cover various types such as eco-friendly and smart types, with internal treatment systems divided into three categories: waterless packing, microbial degradation, and physical separation.

The waterless packing mobile toilet is a relatively common type in the Gansu region. Its core principle involves using biodegradable film to seal and package excreta. After the user finishes defecating, the device inside the toilet automatically wraps the excreta with biodegradable film, forming an independent sealed package. This treatment method does not require water, greatly conserving water resources, especially suitable for areas in Gansu with scarce water resources. Moreover, the biodegradable film can gradually decompose in the natural environment, without causing long-term pollution to the environment, meeting eco-friendly requirements. Simultaneously, since the excreta is sealed and packaged, it also avoids the emission of odors and the spread of germs, ensuring the hygiene of the toilet's internal environment.
The microbial degradation mobile toilet accelerates the decomposition of organic matter by adding specific bacterial strains. In the fecal tank of the toilet, a carrier containing efficient microbial strains is pre-placed. When excreta enters the fecal tank, these microorganisms quickly act to decompose the organic matter into harmless substances such as carbon dioxide, water, and a small amount of inorganic matter. This treatment method not only has high processing efficiency but also can convert excreta into relatively clean substances, reducing the difficulty and cost of subsequent treatment. Meanwhile, the microbial degradation process occurs in a relatively closed environment, without generating secondary pollution, being environmentally friendly.
The physical separation mobile toilet uses a solid-liquid separation device to treat excreta. When excreta enters the toilet, the solid-liquid separation device separates the solid waste from the liquid. The solid waste is collected centrally and can be uniformly treated later, such as for composting. The separated liquid, after filtration and other treatments, can meet emission standards for direct discharge or be reused, such as for flushing the toilet. This treatment method achieves classified treatment of excreta, improving resource utilization and reducing the environmental impact of sewage discharge.
