Fuzhou Mobile Toilet Rental Guide

When renting and using mobile toilets in Fuzhou, it is essential to pay attention to key aspects such as costs, services, and information access channels.

I. Beware of Hidden Rental Charges

1. Additional Charges Beyond Basic Fees: Some merchants attract customers with low 'basic prices' but impose extra charges for deposits, cleaning fees, and transportation costs. For example, deposit refund conditions may be unclear, cleaning fees are charged per day (10 - 20 yuan/day), transportation fees may be calculated per kilometer for cross-province or remote areas (5 - 10 yuan/km), and high-altitude work fees may be charged for higher floors or special installation requirements.
2. Differences in Equipment Types and Configurations: Mobile toilets come in various types, including standard, luxury, and barrier-free models, with significant price differences. Merchants may confuse equipment types or conceal features, such as claiming 'standard configuration' but excluding a toilet paper holder, which requires an additional fee.
3. Vague Contract Terms: Some contracts do not clearly specify rental period calculation methods (e.g., 'less than 24 hours counted as one day') or equipment damage compensation standards. It is advisable to specify key information in the contract, such as the number of units, rental start time, cleaning frequency, and damage compensation details.
4. Traps in Additional Service Charges: Merchants may bundle additional services like air fresheners, toilet paper, and hand soap, charging high prices (e.g., 30 yuan per bottle of air freshener, toilet paper charged per roll).

II. Suggestions for Selecting Rental Merchants
Clarify in advance the items included in the total cost (e.g., transportation, installation, cleaning), whether the equipment configuration and quantity meet requirements, the frequency of cleaning services, deposit refund conditions, and charges for overdue returns or damages to avoid disputes later.

III. Information Access Channels
The 'Fuma Toilet Finder' mini-program, launched on August 20, 2025, provides data on public toilet locations, opening hours, number of stalls, and barrier-free facilities in five urban districts. It supports functions such as 'one-click toilet finding, precise navigation, and feedback interaction.' Citizens can view the distribution of nearby facilities through the online public toilet map, quickly locate the nearest toilet using real-time positioning and navigation, and provide feedback on their experience online.
