Temporary Mobile Toilets in Fuxing District

Admin 10 de octubre de 2026

In recent years, Fuxing District has actively promoted the 'Toilet Revolution' by vigorously constructing temporary mobile toilets (prefabricated mobile toilets) to address issues such as uneven distribution of public toilets, a shortage of toilet stalls, and long queues.

I. Construction Scale and Progress
Fuxing District has been gradually advancing the construction of prefabricated mobile toilets since 2020. This year, it plans to renovate and build a total of eight toilets, all expected to be put into use by mid-November. Currently, seven toilets are under construction, also scheduled for completion by mid-November. The architectural style of these toilets emphasizes integration with the surrounding environment, becoming a distinctive landscape feature of the area.

II. Facility Configuration and Functional Optimization
In the construction of prefabricated mobile toilets, Fuxing District has not only improved basic toilet facilities but also added several human-centered designs:

  1. Barrier-Free Facilities: Equipped with barrier-free access, a third toilet, and a management room to meet the needs of special groups.
  2. Smart Devices: Installed with smart hand-washing stations, sensor-activated hand-washing devices, emergency call phones, mobile phone shelves, and coat hooks to enhance convenience.
  3. Environmental Control: Utilizes a 'flushing, sealing, and exhausting' odor removal system for three-dimensional odor control of underground, above-ground, and spatial areas, ensuring an odor-free environment; also equipped with ventilation facilities and heaters to improve the toilet environment.

III. Management and Maintenance Mechanism
Fuxing District adheres to the principle of '30% construction and 70% management,' establishing a refined public toilet management system that clarifies the responsibilities of cleaning staff and regularly inspects facility operation to ensure long-term cleanliness and odor-free conditions. The provision of management rooms also offers a better working environment for cleaning staff, enhancing service efficiency.

IV. Social Significance
The construction of prefabricated mobile toilets has effectively alleviated the shortage of public toilet resources in Fuxing District, enabling rapid deployment through modular design while considering environmental protection and aesthetics. Its multifunctional configuration and scientific management model provide a replicable example for urban public facility construction, contributing to improving residents' quality of life and the city's image.
