Fuling Municipal Mobile Toilets

Admin 02 de octubre de 2026

Fuling Municipal has significantly improved the convenience of toilet access for citizens and tourists by optimizing public toilet layouts, introducing smart navigation, and providing a variety of leasing services for mobile toilets.

I. Optimization of Urban Public Toilet Networks and Smart Navigation

The Environmental Sanitation Service Center of the Fuling District Urban Management Bureau has systematically optimized the layout of public toilets in the urban area. Clear directional signs have been standardized and placed in prominent positions at 134 public toilets, forming a guidance network that covers the entire urban area. This measure ensures that citizens and tourists can quickly identify the locations of public toilets at major intersections, commercial districts, and other areas. At the same time, the “Scan to Find Toilets” QR code function has been launched. By scanning the QR code on the signs with their mobile phones, users can obtain real-time location information of the nearest public toilet and initiate one-click navigation services. This smart system, combined with the reasonable distribution of public toilets in the urban area, has basically achieved the construction goal of a “5-minute toilet access circle”, meaning that citizens can reach a public toilet within a 5-minute walk in the urban area, significantly reducing the time spent searching for toilets and especially improving the user experience for the elderly, children, and those with mobility impairments.

II. Scenario-Based Coverage of Mobile Toilet Leasing Services

To meet the toilet needs in temporary and highly mobile scenarios, Fuling Municipal has launched a mobile toilet leasing service, covering various scenarios such as construction sites, music festivals, large-scale events, and epidemic prevention centers. The leasing service offers multiple types of mobile toilets, including:

  • Construction Site Mobile Toilets: Designed for the characteristics of dense personnel and long construction periods at construction sites, these toilets are durable and convenient for sewage disposal, ensuring the daily toilet needs of workers.
  • Music Festival Mobile Toilets: Based on the characteristics of large crowds and concentrated usage times at large-scale events, these toilets are provided in sufficient quantities with high cleaning efficiency and are maintained by professional teams in real-time.
  • Epidemic Prevention Center Mobile Toilets: In epidemic prevention scenarios, these toilets are equipped with independent ventilation and disinfection functions to reduce the risk of cross-infection.
  • Portable Mobile Toilets: Suitable for scenarios such as outdoor expeditions and temporary exhibitions, these toilets are small in size and easy to transport, meeting the needs of flexible deployment.

The leasing service, through a “demand-based configuration and rapid response” model, effectively fills the coverage gaps of fixed public toilets and enhances the city's emergency response capabilities.

III. The Public Value of Service Upgrades

The mobile toilet measures implemented by Fuling Municipal reflect a “people-oriented” urban management philosophy. By optimizing the public toilet network and introducing smart navigation, the pain point of citizens “finding it difficult to locate toilets” has been addressed. Through the diversification of leasing services, the differentiated needs of various scenarios have been met. These measures not only improve the level of urban public services but also provide infrastructure support for the development of industries such as tourism and commerce, further enhancing the city's livability and attractiveness.
