Fuling Mobile Toilet Installation
Mobile toilets in Fuling District have been put into use in batches, covering main roads in multiple areas, and featuring intelligent facilities and mobility advantages.

Distribution of Mobile Toilets in Use
The installation of mobile toilets in Fuling District has been completed in phases. On December 6, 2023, three mobile public toilets located beside Liangtang Primary School in Jiangdong Sub-district on Fuqing Road, Lipu Road, and next to Yongjinwan Community on Jiangdong Binjiang Road were handed over to the District Environmental Sanitation Service Center for management and officially put into use. Starting from January 31, 2024, a second batch of six mobile public toilets were fully completed and put into use on six main roads, including in front of the main gate of Wangzhou Park on Hongsheng Avenue, the bus stop of Tianhu Xiaozhen on Hongsheng Avenue, the Jin Di Clothing Factory on the Jiangdong section of Fuqing Road, near the Wahaha Company on Xinghua West Road, in front of the main gate of Fuling No.18 Middle School on Tongxi Road, and Beishan New Town in Jiangbei Sub-district. The layout of these toilets takes into account densely populated areas such as residential areas, schools, commercial districts, and transportation hubs, effectively alleviating the problem of public toilet access.
Specifications and Facility Configuration of Mobile Toilets
The mobile public toilets put into use this time adopt a full steel frame structure, covering an area of about 20 square meters, with clear functional zoning. Each toilet includes 3 to 4 gender-neutral restrooms, 1 management room, 1 tool room, and a fecal tank harmless treatment room. Intelligent facilities are a major highlight: each restroom is equipped with an automatic induction speaker that guides toilet users to close the door through voice prompts and plays light music to enhance the user experience; the walls are installed with basic equipment such as washbasins, mirrors, hooks, and toilet paper holders, while emergency assistance buttons and automatic induction shutdown circuits are added to ensure timely assistance in emergencies and avoid energy waste. In addition, the fecal tank adopts harmless treatment technology to reduce its impact on the environment.
Core Advantages of Mobile Toilets
Compared with traditional fixed toilets, mobile public toilets have significant advantages. Firstly, they occupy a small area, requiring only about 20 square meters to meet functional requirements, making them suitable for urban areas with limited space or temporary event venues. Secondly, they are highly mobile. In the event of urban planning adjustments or demolition needs, the entire toilet can be lifted and relocated to a new site for reinstallation, enabling secondary use and avoiding resource waste. Thirdly, they have a short construction period. Modular design allows for rapid deployment and timely response to public facility needs. These characteristics make them an important choice for Fuling District to improve urban public service levels.
