Foam Mobile Environmental Toilet Installation

Admin 01 de octubre de 2026

The installation of foam mobile environmental toilets should be carried out by a professional team following standardized procedures, covering planning, installation, commissioning, and maintenance. The specific steps and requirements are as follows:

I. Pre-installation Planning
Before installation, scientific planning should be carried out based on the usage scenario:

  1. Demand Assessment: Determine the number of toilet stalls based on the number of users, duration of use, and gender ratio to avoid waste or shortage of resources. For example, large events should configure toilet stalls according to peak-hour traffic, while long-term fixed usage scenarios should reserve maintenance space.
  2. Site Conditions: Check whether the ground bearing capacity meets the equipment weight (usually ≥2 tons/square meter), plan the spacing between toilet stalls (recommended ≥1.2 meters) and barrier-free access (width ≥0.9 meters) to ensure wheelchair accessibility.
  3. Clearance Route: Plan the route for fecal waste clearance in advance, avoiding densely populated areas and ensuring that transport vehicles can directly reach the drainage outlet to reduce the risk of secondary pollution.

II. Core Installation Steps

  1. Ground Fixation and Wind Resistance Reinforcement:
    • Ensure that the ground flatness error is ≤5mm, and use expansion bolts or chemical anchors to fix the equipment base to prevent overturning.
    • In areas with wind speeds ≥6, add diagonal braces or weight blocks to enhance wind resistance.
  2. Water and Electricity Connection and Safety Protection:
    • The power supply should use waterproof sockets (IP65 or higher), and the circuit should be independently wired to avoid sharing with other equipment and prevent overloading.
    • Install check valves at water pipe connections to prevent sewage backflow, and wrap insulation cotton in winter to prevent freezing.
  3. Sealing Treatment of the Sewage System:
    • Use flexible sealing rubber rings when connecting the drainage outlet to the sewer pipe, and apply waterproof glass glue at the joints to ensure no leakage.
    • The slope of the sewage pipe should be ≥2% to avoid fecal waste retention and blockage.
  4. Foam System Commissioning:
    • Adjust the mixing ratio of foam liquid, water, and air (usually 1:20:50), and monitor the foam density (≥0.02g/cm³) with a pressure gauge.
    • Test the foam coverage effect to ensure that the foam layer thickness in the toilet bowl is ≥3cm with no exposed areas.

III. Key Installation Requirements

  1. Environmental Adaptability: The equipment can operate in environments ranging from -40℃ to 50℃, but in low-temperature areas, an electric tracing system should be used to insulate the water tank and pipelines to prevent freezing.
  2. Safety Protection: The grounding resistance should be ≤4Ω, and the trip current of the leakage protector should be ≤30mA to ensure electrical safety.
  3. Signage: Install Chinese and English signs at the entrance, toilet stalls, and barrier-free access, and equip with lighting and reflective signs at night.

IV. Post-installation Maintenance Points

  1. Regular Inspections: Check the structural stability of the equipment, circuit sealing, and the operating status of the foam generation system every 7-10 days.
  2. Consumable Replenishment: Replenish the foam liquid every 3-5 days according to the frequency of use, and clean the pipelines and fecal storage tank monthly to prevent scaling.
  3. Fecal Waste Clearance: Immediately clear the fecal storage tank when it reaches 80% capacity to avoid overflow and environmental pollution.

The installation quality directly affects usage safety and hygiene effects. It is necessary to strictly follow the specifications to ensure that key indicators such as ground flatness, circuit waterproofing, sewage leakage prevention, and winter insulation meet the standards.
