Fixed Container House Installation
Admin 16 de septiembre de 2026
The installation of fixed container houses should follow standardized procedures, with a focus on key aspects such as site preparation, securing, installation, and troubleshooting. The specific points are as follows:

I. Preliminary Preparation
- Site Requirements: The installation site must be flat and solid, free from settlement, cracks, or obstructions. In regions with low winter temperatures, such as Shanxi, the depth of the frozen soil layer should be checked. If the frozen soil layer is thick, site hardening (e.g., concrete pouring) is required to prevent foundation settlement caused by freeze-thaw cycles.
- Tool Preparation: Tools such as wrenches, spirit levels, tape measures, and electric drills should be equipped. Ensure that the tools are in good condition and of matching specifications (e.g., bolt size matches the corner fitting aperture) to avoid delays during installation due to tool issues.
- Selection of Foundation Type: Choose the foundation type based on site conditions. For soft soil foundations, reinforced concrete foundations are recommended to enhance load-bearing capacity; for hard ground, steel or timber foundations can be used, but the horizontal error of the foundation must be ≤5mm.
II. Foundation Securing
- Ground Securing Method: Secure the container using expansion bolts or embedded parts, with at least four securing points (at the corner fitting positions) per container. The tightening torque of the bolts must reach the design value (usually 150-200N·m) to prevent loosening.
- Wind Resistance Design Enhancement: In regions with strong winds, such as Shanxi, reinforce the structure using guy wires (diameter ≥12mm steel wire ropes) or pressure beams (I-beams or concrete beams). The angle between the guy wires and the ground should be 30°-45° to ensure overall stability.
III. Installation Steps
- Lifting and Positioning: Use a crane to slowly lift the container, maintaining a horizontal state (tilt ≤1°) to avoid collision with the foundation or adjacent containers. After lifting, use a spirit level to verify the horizontalness. Adjust if the error exceeds the standard.
- Connection and Sealing Treatment: Connect adjacent containers using corner fitting bolts, which should be tightened crosswise and coated with anti-loosening adhesive; fill the gaps with sealing strips and seal the exterior with silicone sealant to prevent rainwater leakage.
- Frame and Facility Installation: If a second-story structure is required, first secure the steel columns and beams, then lift the upper container. When installing doors and windows, check the verticality of the frames; the roof panels must be tightly overlapped and securely fixed, with a slope of the rainwater pipes ≥2%.
IV. Common Problem Handling
- Installation Tilt: After detection with a spirit level, level the container by adjusting the height of the anchor bolts or inserting metal shims (thickness ≤5mm). The use of perishable materials such as wooden blocks is strictly prohibited.
- Joint Leakage: Check if the sealing strips are aged or detached, replace them, and reapply sealant (seam width ≥10mm). Avoid rainwater exposure within 24 hours.
- Transport Damage Repair: If container deformation affects installation, it should be corrected by professionals using hydraulic jacks. Forcing with a hammer to avoid secondary damage is strictly prohibited.
V. Personalized Adjustment Recommendations
Depending on the usage scenario, add insulation layers (e.g., rock wool boards, thickness ≥50mm) or conduct interior renovations (using lightweight partition materials) to enhance living comfort. It is recommended to entrust a professional team for operation to ensure structural safety and compliance.
