The finished decorated container houses mainly come in forms such as standalone villas, luxury villas, and exclusive private cottages.
Uncle's Handcrafted Standalone Container Villa: During the planning phase, the positions of the entrance and window openings are first determined, and aluminum alloy is used for reinforcement to ensure structural stability. For floor treatment, light steel joists are installed followed by laying solid wood flooring, ensuring both floor flatness and enhanced living comfort. During wall construction, thermal insulation film is first laid to improve insulation performance, followed by using light steel joists as the base layer, while simultaneously carrying out window sealing and the laying of electrical and plumbing conduits. After installing thermal insulation cotton on the ceiling, moisture-resistant gypsum board is used for edge sealing, effectively preventing moisture and heat loss. The bathroom employs thin-set ceramic tile installation, which is both aesthetically pleasing and practical.
Construction Team's Luxury Container Villa: At the start of construction, the team first segments and cuts the container, installs aluminum alloy windows and glass doors to create a transparent living space. After completing the internal structure, concealed electrical and plumbing work is installed to ensure living safety. For ceiling treatment, foam board is first used as a base, followed by covering with oriented strand board, and then applying torch-on membrane for waterproofing, effectively preventing rainwater leakage. Indoors, foam adhesive is used to fill the inside of the joists, which are then covered with dense decorative paper, and finally sealed with gypsum board, completing the application of indoor putty and latex paint. Outdoors, special boards are used to wrap the exterior frame, enhancing overall aesthetics. Near the windows, a leisure area is created using steel frame structures, adding to the enjoyment of living.
Man's Renovated Exclusive Private Cottage from a Used Container: During the renovation process, the container is first positioned correctly, then wrapped with metal mesh on the outside, followed by applying a layer of concrete. This step not only protects the container's iron skin but also prepares it for subsequent exterior wall renovation.
