Finished Container Temporary Housing

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

Finished container temporary housing is a building form with a steel structure frame and enclosure panels as its core components, which can be quickly assembled and moved for temporary office and accommodation scenarios. The following is an introduction from the aspects of composition, performance, application scenarios, and purchasing considerations:

Composition and Performance: Its core consists of a steel structure frame paired with enclosure panels. Traditional finished containers have a single specification, and their performance depends on the thickness of the steel, the density of the insulation layer, and the anti-corrosion process. For example, a combination of 0.8-millimeter corrugated steel plates and 100-millimeter rock wool sandwich panels can meet the basic insulation requirements in an environment of -30 degrees Celsius. In areas with long winters and large temperature differences, such as Jining, there are high requirements for panel condensation control. Ordinary galvanized plates are prone to condensation on the inner walls of the container, leading to dampness when the day-night temperature difference exceeds 20 degrees Celsius. However, panels with a high weather-resistant polyester resin coating on the outer layer and an additional moisture-proof aluminum foil layer on the inner layer can effectively reduce the probability of condensation.

Application Scenarios: In the past, they were mainly used for temporary projects such as construction site dormitories and wilderness camps to meet the demand for rapid delivery, and a standard 6-meter container could suffice. Nowadays, the demand has diversified. Some customers require multiple containers to be combined into two- or three-story office areas, which requires solving the structural mechanics problems of vertical stacking. They can also be used in various scenarios such as mobile worker accommodations, construction offices, oil camps, and school mobile temporary housing.

Purchasing Considerations:

  • Focus on climate adaptability: There are significant climate differences in different regions. For example, in the Jining area, it is essential to focus on examining the panel's condensation control technology to ensure normal use under local climate conditions and avoid internal dampness issues.
  • Consider functional requirements: Determine the required functions according to the usage scenario, such as whether insulation, fire prevention, and moisture resistance are needed. If used for offices, there may be higher requirements for space layout and lighting; if used for accommodations, attention should be paid to living comfort.
  • Examine the supplier's capabilities: With changing demands, suppliers have shifted from selling single finished products to providing modular solutions. It is necessary to examine whether the supplier can provide personalized modular solutions according to requirements, as well as their production capacity, product quality, and after-sales service.
