Export Prefabricated House Construction

Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026

The construction of export prefabricated houses mainly adopts a modular building model, combining factory prefabrication with on-site assembly to achieve efficient, precise, and large-scale exports.

I. Construction Model and Technological Advantages
The core of export prefabricated houses lies in the modular building model, which involves breaking down the entire building into independent unit modules (such as rooms, bathrooms, corridors, etc.) and completing standardized prefabricated production in the factory. The production process covers all internal structures, including ceilings, walls, waterproof layers, and water and electricity pipelines. It employs parallel operations, combined with automated vertical warehouses and intelligent production lines, to achieve simultaneous advancement of multiple processes. Compared to traditional construction, this model can shorten the construction period by more than 60%, control errors with precision machinery to the millimeter level, and significantly improve quality stability. For example, embedding water and electricity pipelines in the factory can avoid on-site trenching and reduce the risk of structural damage; modular bathrooms adopt an overall waterproof design, reducing the leakage rate by more than 90% compared to traditional processes.

II. Export Scale and Market Distribution
In recent years, China's export of prefabricated houses has shown rapid growth. In the first four months of 2024, the export value of movable houses by enterprises across the country through the Shenzhen port reached 1.68 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19.6%, covering more than 150 countries and regions; during the same period, the Huangpu Customs supervised the export of modular houses worth 548 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.3 times; the export value in the Guangzhou Customs area was 1.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 38.1%. In terms of market distribution, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe are the main export regions, with countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and Italy showing strong demand, reflecting the global urgent need for rapid deployment and low-cost construction solutions.

III. Typical Application Scenarios
In addition to traditional hotels, senior living apartments, dormitories, and office buildings, the construction of global data centers has become an important growth point. For example, Jiangmen CIMC Digital Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. has delivered modular prefabricated data center projects with a total installed capacity of over 1,000 megawatts, covering Malaysia, Indonesia, the Middle East, Italy, and other places. Modular data centers adopt standardized container units that integrate power supply, cooling, and network equipment, enabling 'factory production-on-site assembly-plug and play.' The construction period is shortened from the traditional 18 months to 3-6 months, and energy consumption is reduced by more than 20%, aligning with the trend of 'rapid capacity expansion and low-carbon operations' in overseas data centers.
