Evaluation of Container Houses

Admin 16 de septiembre de 2026

Container houses have advantages such as flexibility, portability, cost control, structural stability, and environmental protection and energy conservation, but they also have shortcomings such as limited evaluation of customized products and uneven quality of non-standard products. The specific analysis is as follows:

Advantages:

  • Flexibility, portability, and strong scene adaptability: Based on a standard steel chassis, container houses can quickly derive various combined spaces such as conference rooms, dormitories, and kitchens, and are easy to transport, especially suitable for units that frequently change construction sites. Their modular design supports the arbitrary combination of multiple containers, efficiently meeting different scene requirements.
  • Outstanding structural stability and safety: The all-steel structural frame and strict manufacturing process endow them with strong earthquake resistance and deformation resistance. For example, the products of Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure Co., Ltd. adopt fully automatic welding processes, with a maximum frame deformation of only 2mm under 12-level strong winds, far below the national standard limit; although the products of CIMC Modular Building Investment Co., Ltd. adopt a semi-welded and semi-bolted structure, the deformation is only 3mm, both showing excellent safety performance.
  • High environmental protection, energy conservation, and recycling value: Container houses use environmentally friendly materials. For example, Junzhijia movable panel houses use solid wood floors, which are radiation-free and generate no construction waste. They can be reused more than 6 times, with relatively low comprehensive costs, in line with the concept of sustainable development.
  • Convenient disassembly and assembly and flexible movement: The house is an integral structure, supporting rapid disassembly and assembly and overall relocation, with a service life of more than 20 years. For example, Sihai container houses can be relocated as a whole and can be moved to the designated location at any time using a crane.

Shortcomings:

  • Limited evaluation of customized products: This evaluation only targets standardized container movable houses, and customized special-specification products are not included in the comparison range, which may not fully reflect the performance differences of all products in the market.
  • Safety hazards in non-standard products: Some non-standard white-label products on the market use thin steel plates or inferior steel to reduce costs, with a wind resistance of only level 8, far below the national standard requirements, posing significant safety risks in extreme weather conditions.
