Engineering Toilet Mobile Restroom

Admin 26 de septiembre de 2026

The mobile restrooms with toilets used in engineering projects are facilities that can be moved as a whole and set up at fixed or temporary locations. They have the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport.

Composition Structure

Mobile restrooms are generally composed of multiple parts. The fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device) is used to collect and treat excreta; the floor provides a stable surface for standing and moving around; sanitary fixtures such as toilets and squat pans meet usage needs; walls serve as enclosures and partitions; washing equipment facilitates user cleaning; water tanks supply water for flushing and other purposes; the roof provides shelter from wind and rain; and the mobile device ensures that the entire unit can be moved.

Classification Methods

  • By structural form: They are divided into single-structure mobile restrooms and composite-structure mobile restrooms. Single-structure ones are relatively simple and independent, while composite-structure ones may be composed of multiple parts and have more complex and diverse functions.
  • By moving method: There are lifting and handling-type mobile restrooms, which usually require lifting equipment or manual handling for movement; and powered and towed-type mobile restrooms, which have their own power devices or can be moved by being towed by vehicles, making movement more convenient and efficient.
  • By sewage treatment method: There are water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction-type mobile restrooms. Water-flushing types use water flow to flush away excreta, while non-water-flushing suction types use suction equipment to remove excreta; circulating water-flushing mobile restrooms can recycle the flushing water to save water resources; and dry-packing mobile restrooms package excreta in a dry form for easy subsequent cleaning and transportation.

Design Principles

The design of mobile restrooms follows multiple principles. They should be mobile, cost-effective, and durable. The overall structure should be lightweight, using lightweight and durable materials as much as possible, while being sturdy, and the mobile device should be complete and reasonable; they should be environmentally friendly and beneficial to the environment, meeting environmental protection requirements in sewage treatment and other aspects to reduce environmental pollution; they should improve efficiency and promote humanitarianism, meeting the basic needs of users and providing a comfortable and hygienic usage environment. For example, a 304 stainless steel water-flushing squat pan can be used in restroom renovation projects. It is formed in one piece for flushing, uses 1.2 thickened plates, and can be equipped with accessories such as front-blocking water-trap odor preventers, suitable for various locations.
