Electric Vehicle Mobile Toilet

Admin 08 de octubre de 2026

There are already commercial products and folk modification cases of electric vehicle mobile toilets, with technical implementations and functional configurations varying by type.

I. Commercial Products: Integrated Functions, Customizable
Some companies have launched professional electric vehicle-mounted mobile toilet vehicles. Taking the product of Hefei Shuntu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. as an example, it features a closed carriage design with external dimensions of 6000 (length) × 2100 (width) × 2850 (height) mm, a wheelbase of 3400 mm, a speed range of 19-25 km/h, and a driving range of up to 60 km. It is equipped with a 7.5 kW driving motor and a 72V/55A charger. These products typically employ vacuum toilet technology, using negative pressure suction for rapid sewage collection, reducing odor diffusion, and are equipped with separate sewage and freshwater tanks for extended continuous use. Some models also support customization, such as adjusting carriage layouts and adding air conditioning or ventilation systems, with prices starting from 11,100 yuan, suitable for temporary scenarios like tourist attractions and construction sites.

II. Folk Modification Cases: Simplified Functions, Safety Regulations Required
Folk modification cases often involve in-depth modifications of ordinary electric vehicles, integrating facilities such as simple toilets, electric privacy curtains, frosted glass, and exhaust fans to achieve basic toilet functions. For example, some modification plans use foldable toilets and sealed sewage bags, powered by the vehicle's battery to drive the exhaust fan, with frosted glass for privacy. However, these modifications have limitations: 1. Electrical Safety Risks: It is essential to ensure that circuit modifications comply with low-voltage electrical regulations to prevent fires caused by overloaded or short-circuited circuits; 2. Space Limitations: The carriage size of ordinary electric vehicles is relatively small, requiring optimized equipment layouts to balance functionality and comfort; 3. Impact on Driving Range: Newly added equipment consumes the vehicle's battery power, necessitating an assessment of whether the original vehicle's driving range meets the requirements.

III. Core Technical Differences: Vacuum System vs. Simple Treatment
Commercial products rely on vacuum toilet technology, using vacuum pumps to generate negative pressure for rapid sewage suction into sealed tanks, reducing odors and bacterial growth, suitable for high-frequency use scenarios. Folk modifications, on the other hand, often use physical isolation and simple treatment methods, such as sealed bags or small septic tanks, requiring regular cleaning and prone to odors, more suitable for low-frequency or emergency use.
