Dog Mobile Toilet

Admin 20 de septiembre de 2026

A dog mobile toilet, also known as a dog toilet, is a tool designed for pet dogs to relieve themselves at a fixed location. It was invented by a Dutch company in 2004 and is characterized by its ease of cleaning and mobility, primarily serving people who are unable to walk their dogs daily due to busy work schedules or living conditions.

Core Functions and Design Types The core function of a dog toilet is to guide dogs to excrete at a fixed location, simplifying the cleaning process. Its structure is typically used in conjunction with pet diapers, with an inner layer designed to hold absorbent and deodorizing specialized diapers. Maintaining a hygienic environment involves regularly replacing these diapers. Dog toilets can be categorized into three types based on design:

  1. Flat-panel type: With a flat surface, it is suitable for small dogs or puppies, facilitating the cleanup of solid waste. However, it requires the use of diaper pads to prevent liquid leakage.
  2. Grid type: Featuring a grid bottom, urine can pass through the grid into the diaper pad below, reducing the likelihood of the dog's paws coming into contact with waste. This type is suitable for medium to large dogs.
  3. Fenced type: Surrounded by a fence, it prevents waste from splashing out and provides a sense of security for dogs, making it ideal for dogs in the early stages of training or those with sensitive personalities.

Materials and Cleaning Maintenance Dog toilets are generally made of high-strength resin materials, which are corrosion-resistant and easy to clean. Daily maintenance involves regularly replacing the diaper pads and rinsing the surface with water or pet-specific cleaning agents to avoid lingering odors. Some brands, such as "Mengdu Xingchong," have designed flushable toilet structures that can be directly connected to a water pipe for flushing, further simplifying the cleaning process.

Usage Scenarios and Limitations Dog toilets are suitable for indoor environments such as apartments and offices, or scenarios where walking the dog is not possible due to weather or health reasons. However, dogs need to be trained to adapt to the habit of relieving themselves at a fixed location, and the training period varies depending on the individual dog. Additionally, the usage rate in public areas of cities like Beijing is relatively low, mainly due to public space management regulations or dogs' preference for outdoor excretion.

Brands and Product Selection Mainstream brands on the market include:

  • Huayuan Chongju: The flat-panel urinal is specifically designed for small dogs, featuring a non-slip bottom and leak-proof structure, suitable for multiple scenarios.
  • Iris: The large dog toilet is made of eco-friendly materials, with a flexible disassembly design to prevent urine overflow, and a non-slip base for stability.
  • Mengdu Xingchong: The flushable toilet offers a spacious excretion space, with a splash-proof design to reduce cleaning burdens, suitable for medium to large dogs.

When selecting a dog toilet, it is essential to consider the dog's size, usage scenario, and cleaning needs comprehensively, prioritizing products with safe materials and sturdy structures.
