District Mayor and Mobile Toilets
District mayors primarily play a role in promoting planning and implementing management in matters related to mobile toilets, with different district mayors taking different measures based on local conditions.

In Huyi District, Xi'an, Acting District Mayor Pei Jingyu focused on urging the provision of public toilets in development projects during an inspection of the progress of the toilet revolution. This initiative aims to improve urban supporting facilities, with the management requirements for mobile toilets being an important part. By requiring the district's urban management bureau to implement relevant regulations, it ensures that mobile toilets can be reasonably planned, scientifically placed, and effectively managed. This helps enhance the overall level of urban sanitation and hygiene, meeting the toilet needs of residents and tourists in different areas. Especially in some newly developed project areas, mobile toilets can serve as temporary or supplementary sanitation facilities, filling the gap during the construction of fixed public toilets and ensuring the completeness and normal functioning of urban infrastructure.
Yang Kemin, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and District Mayor of Laoshan District, Qingdao, proposed specific solutions to the problem of a shortage of public toilets in the first phase of the Zhangcun River renovation pilot section. He clearly stated that mobile toilets would be placed in crowded areas based on pedestrian traffic to meet the toilet needs of the public. This approach is highly targeted and practical. When the construction of public toilets in the renovation area is not yet complete, mobile toilets can be quickly put into use, with their locations and quantities flexibly adjusted according to actual pedestrian traffic. This effectively alleviates the problem of difficulty in finding toilets for the public, reflecting the government's attention to and timely response to details of people's livelihoods. It helps improve public satisfaction with government work and also provides convenience for maintaining normal order and facilitating pedestrian flow in the renovation area.
District mayors in different regions play active leadership and promotional roles in the planning, placement, and management of mobile toilets based on local actual conditions to improve urban sanitation and hygiene and enhance the quality of life for the public.
