Dangyang New Environmentally Friendly Mobile Toilets
Dangyang City has achieved remarkable results in the construction of new environmentally friendly mobile toilets, primarily reflected in aspects such as functionality, design, intelligent management, and cultural integration.

I. New High-Appearance Public Toilets, Enhancing Hardware Standards
Two first-class standard public toilets have been newly built in Dangyang City near Xinyuyang Middle School and Yulin Middle School, covering areas of 128㎡ and 136㎡ respectively, and put into use in June this year. The first-class public toilet standards encompass comprehensive sanitary facilities, ventilation systems, and barrier-free designs, providing basic guarantees for citizens. Additionally, there are 48 public toilets directly managed by urban sanitation and 50 socialized public toilets in the urban area, including 27 Class I, 48 Class II, and 23 prefabricated toilets, forming a multi-level layout to meet the needs of different areas.
II. Diversified Functions, Focusing on Humanized Services
The public toilets adopt a 'City Station + Smart Public Toilet' model, breaking through traditional functional boundaries. In addition to basic toilet facilities, they include rest areas, study areas, water dispensers, and are equipped with barrier-free ramps, baby changing stations, hand dryers, power banks, storage lockers, and other convenient facilities. The establishment of the third toilet is particularly crucial, providing an independent and private space for disabled individuals, mothers with infants, and the elderly, reflecting social care.
III. Intelligent Systems Enable Refined Management
The public toilets introduce a modern smart system, monitoring foot traffic, temperature, humidity, ammonia levels, and usage status in real-time through a central display screen. For example, ammonia level monitoring can promptly trigger the ventilation system to ensure air quality; foot traffic data helps optimize cleaning frequencies. This technological management not only improves operational efficiency but also provides citizens with a more comfortable user experience.
IV. Cultural Integration Highlights Urban Characteristics
The appearance of the public toilets adopts a new Chinese style, incorporating elements of Three Kingdoms culture, such as traditional architectural patterns and historical allusion reliefs, echoing the city brand of 'Changban Heroism, Integrity Dangyang.' This design not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the public toilets but also makes them carriers for spreading local culture, strengthening citizens' cultural identity.
V. Optimized Overall Layout, Enhancing Toilet Experience
Dangyang City has scientifically planned the proportion of public toilets directly managed by urban sanitation and socialized public toilets, combined with the differentiated layout of Class I, Class II, and prefabricated public toilets, covering the core urban areas and surrounding regions. For example, high-foot-traffic locations such as schools and commercial districts are prioritized with high-specification public toilets, while remote areas are equipped with prefabricated public toilets to ensure basic needs, achieving efficient resource allocation.
In summary, Dangyang City's new environmentally friendly mobile toilets have constructed a comprehensive and high-quality public health service system through standardized construction, humanized design, intelligent management, and cultural empowerment, becoming an important window for urban civilization.
