Damaged Portable Toilet
The handling of a damaged portable toilet requires targeted measures based on the damage scenario, component type, and actual situation, mainly divided into three categories: damage during transportation, installation, and common component damage.

Handling Damage During Transportation
For component damage during transportation, prioritize recording and evidence collection. Immediately take photos or videos to document the damaged parts and extent, and check the integrity of the packaging. If the damage is caused by improper packaging, file a claim with the logistics company, contact the supplier or logistics provider to explain the situation, and fill out a claim form or provide evidence as required. If the claim is successful, repair or replace the components according to the negotiated outcome; if negotiations fail, resolve the dispute through legal means. During the waiting period for repairs, take temporary measures to ensure basic functionality, such as using temporary supports to stabilize the structure or covering the damaged parts.
Handling Damage During Installation
If component damage is discovered during installation, stop work immediately to prevent further damage. First, assess the extent of the damage: minor damage can be attempted to be repaired (e.g., lubricating the lock cylinder of a door lock), while severe damage requires replacing the components (e.g., replacing a broken hinge or deformed door panel). Promptly contact the supplier or installation team to explain the situation and request guidance. If they cannot arrive on-site promptly, consult for temporary solutions (e.g., using tape to temporarily fix a water pipe). When repairing or replacing, strictly follow operational procedures to ensure component quality meets standards. After completion, conduct tests (e.g., flushing system, leak detection) to confirm everything is correct before continuing installation, and pay attention to subsequent operational procedures to avoid secondary damage.
Handling Common Component Damage
- Door Lock: If the lock cylinder is stuck, use lubricating oil; if the frame is damaged, replace the entire assembly.
- Seat Ring/Toilet: If cracks or damage occur, replace with the same model component and ensure secure installation.
- Water Tank/Water Pipe: For water tank leaks, check internal components (e.g., float ball, seal ring) and replace them; for broken water pipes, replace with new pipes and ensure the connections are sealed.
- Electrical Components: For lighting or ventilation failures, first check for loose circuit connections, then repair or replace components. Ensure power is off during operation to avoid electric shock.
- Box Structure: If deformation occurs due to temperature differences or external forces, contact the supplier to evaluate repair options; severe deformation may require a complete replacement.
In addition, if the portable toilet experiences functional failures (e.g., flushing system failure, sewage pipe blockage) or sanitation issues, notify the relevant department immediately to avoid affecting normal use.
