Damaged Mobile Toilet

Admin 21 de septiembre de 2026

There are various types of damage to damaged mobile toilets and corresponding handling methods, as detailed below:

Damage due to Idleness

Some mobile toilets are damaged due to years of idleness without maintenance. For example, the mobile public toilets at the Convenience Service Center Square in Tieshan Street, West Coast New Area, had seven stalls with doors wrapped in iron wire and rendered unusable. Eventually, these damaged mobile public toilets were transported away and dismantled for scrapping. For toilets damaged in this way due to idleness, if the damage is severe and there is no repair value, scrapping is usually chosen; if some parts are still usable, they can be dismantled to recover useful materials.

Human Vandalism

Many mobile toilets suffer from human vandalism. In Inner Mongolia, over 75% of mobile public toilets have been vandalized, including stolen light bulbs, damaged solar panels, severely broken door handles and locks, graffiti on stall partitions, 'burns' from cigarette butts, damaged foot pedals and faucets, and frequent loss of screens and sensors, greatly increasing the maintenance costs of public toilets. In response to human vandalism, on the one hand, publicity and education should be strengthened to raise public awareness of protecting public facilities; on the other hand, damaged parts should be promptly repaired or replaced, such as replacing stolen light bulbs and damaged door handles and locks.

Main Structure Issues

Mobile toilets used outdoors for a long time may experience deformation or cracking of the main structure, possibly due to external impact or long-term uneven stress. Small cracks can be repaired with special plastic welding materials, while severe cases require replacement of the entire box or related parts. Door locks and hinges may also malfunction, with lock failure or hinge rusting being common problems. Regular application of lubricant can delay rusting, and if the internal spring of the lock fails or the structure is damaged, it is recommended to replace the entire lock set directly. Ventilation openings may also become blocked and require regular inspection to ensure they are clear.

Sanitation System and Flushing Device Issues

Manual or foot-pedal flushing valves may malfunction, commonly manifesting as an inability to rebound after being pressed, weak water flow, or no water flow at all, usually caused by spring failure inside the valve, aging of the seal ring, or blockage by scale. Automatic induction flushing devices may fail to flush or continuously flush, possibly due to power supply or infrared induction window issues, or control board or solenoid valve failures. Storage tanks and pipes may also leak, with minor leaks repairable using waterproof sealing tape or special glue, while larger cracks in the tank are recommended to be replaced.
