Curved Mobile Toilet Wet-Dry Separation

Admin 09 de octubre de 2026

The wet-dry separation design of curved mobile toilets requires comprehensive consideration from four aspects: space utilization, sealing and drainage, material safety, and size adaptability.

1. Space Utilization and Movement Optimization
The curved fan-shaped layout eliminates right-angle dead corners through arc transitions, significantly improving space utilization, especially suitable for narrow and long bathrooms. For example, the Arrow 900×900mm curved fan-shaped shower enclosure adopts a hidden recessed track, allowing smooth opening and closing of sliding doors, avoiding conflicts with toilets or sinks that traditional swing doors may have, while reducing the risk of water backflow on the floor. The curved design also optimizes movement paths, making it more natural for users to enter and exit, enhancing comfort.

2. Sealing and Drainage Design
The core of wet-dry separation lies in waterproof sealing. Curved shower enclosures need to be equipped with powerful magnetic waterproof strips that automatically adhere and compress the door seams when closed, preventing moisture from escaping; the bottom drainage channel is designed with a slight slope (usually 2%-3%) to guide water quickly into the floor drain, reducing ground moisture accumulation. Some designs also add anti-odor floor drain cores inside the drainage channels to further block odor backflow.

3. Material and Safety Configuration
Material selection directly affects durability and safety. It is recommended to use tempered glass over 6mm thick (with anti-explosion film on both sides), paired with an aviation aluminum frame to ensure corrosion resistance and wind pressure resistance. Hardware should use dust-proof flocked brush tracks to reduce hair and soap scum entanglement, extending the lifespan of the sliding wheels; the hinges should have buffering functions to avoid noise or collisions when the door panels close. Additionally, the glass edges should be rounded to prevent cuts.

4. Size Adaptability
Curved fan-shaped designs have high requirements for wall corner flatness, requiring a tolerance of 2-3 centimeters during installation. If the wall surface has irregularities, local leveling treatment is needed to avoid bulky edge sealants affecting aesthetics. For mobile toilets, transportation and assembly convenience should also be considered, and a modular design is recommended for easy disassembly and reinstallation. Furthermore, the radius of the curve should be adjusted according to the space size to avoid cramped usage due to an excessively small radius.

Additional Design Suggestions
Popular curved bathrooms often enhance aesthetics through arched doorways, half-wall tiles paired with latex paint, while adopting wall-mounted drainage (hidden pipes) and smart mirror cabinets (integrated with defogging and lighting functions) to further optimize wet-dry separation effects. If space allows, an independent sink or storage cabinet can be added to maximize functional zoning.
